Despite a little bump in the road towards the end of season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, there has never been a queen so deserving of the crown as season five runner-up Alaska Thunderfuck. She came prepared, she played brilliantly and she was funny as all hell.
She also proved herself to be a savvy marketer, releasing music during the show’s run that tied in with a very memorable Lil Poundcake appearance.
So not to miss a beat, she’s released a new video just after her big win.

Actually, I was pretty annoyed with the spoiler in the headline too. Queerty hasn’t even been covering All Stars, unlike Towleroad’s recaps (whom always bury the info under spoiler alerts). Why would I think that it would be dangerous to open my Feedly?
Not a huge deal. Obviously #firstworldproblems. Just wanted to point out that this could have been shared in a way that wouldn’t have made me feel like I am going to waste my time watching the episode tonight… Queerty has been asking for feedback on their articles, here’s mine: don’t be jerks. (and this applies to far more than a lack of spoiler alerts, but often general articles with more tone and opinions than information)

I doubt that there are many Drag Race fans who are HALF as messy as Alaska was during the episode before the finale. Unbalanced, spoiled, and childish. Now you find out she cheated on Sharon too? Sharon was lucky to get away.

I love Alaska I understand the backlash of some of her choices. She would’ve been better if she just would’ve said I’m eliminating them because they are competition. She was fake about it. That’s what turned everyone. But it was her choice and she did what she had to do to win. If RuPaul was the judge I think Tatiana and Alyssa may have won.

Offering to bribe the other contestants to keep her in the contest should have brought on an immediate dismissal, never mind the childish temper tantrum she threw. The fact that neither Ru nor Michelle never even mentioned it shows that this season was designed to give Alaska the title some way, somehow.

@asby: Some people use what’s known as a feed reader, an app that aggregates all your favorite online content in one easy to read place. Usually the feed readers only give you headlines so you can choose when and what to read without having to go directly to the site. So you can’t always control what you see when scrolling through. Would have been nice to just leave the spoiler out of the headline. But technology sucks sometimes!
