We all know what she said was wrong but let’s face it, she’s apologised, she’s lost sponsers and I don’t think anybody really thinks she’s a true homophobe.

She apologized for her idiocy. She seemed to be remorseful, but I’d cry if I lost a $100,000 car. If anything it’s a lesson to those in the public eye who choose for some unknown reason to air all of their trifling thoughts on twitter and facebook.
I actually believe her, so I hope that she’s truely learned her lesson. Let’s move on now to the GOP, please.

While I’m sure she’s not the gay-bashing sort, posting ‘faggot’ on twitter definitely falls under homophobia doesn’t it? I mean of all the expletives could have used, why this? And just because she got caught using it in a public tweet doesn’t mean she’s gonna stop using it in private.
We’ve got way too many public figures using gay slurs or making gay jokes and then apologising when the shit hits the fan. How about they stop making excuses and admit that they have an insensitivity problem.
