TMZ reports Lucas Entertainment, the gay porn company run by Michael Lucas, has hired Krentcil for a cameo appearance in an upcoming adult epic. But calm down, TM’s clothes will stay on and she’s not having sex on camera. For her hard work, she’ll be paid $1,000 or roughly the amount you’d have to pay us to watch.

Another reason to confirm why my leaving the gay porn industry was the right thing to do. Michael Lucas is paying some obvious quack $1,000 for a cameo. Meanwhile, I have heard from more than a few sources that Lucas pays only $500 to someone having full-on sex. I ended talks of a production deal with FlavaWorks over this very same kind of disproportion in pay between sex models and non-sex models with some half-assed notoriety. Granted, the pay difference was a good number times worse in my situation with FlavaWorks, but obviously the same disregard for sex performers and the possible extra costs that can occur (Ex: STD treatments) is at play. So anyone who doesn’t see something seriously wrong with that thought process is beyond hopeless.

Michael Lucas is a hoot. No one has topped his ability to improve the acting and production levels in gay porn. This move I do not understand. Clearly there are better options than the tan mom, who isn’t funny unless you like laughing at drunk, crazy people. As far as how much porn actors get paid for doing porn…uh, its porn, its not the actors who get rich. $500 to have sex with a hot guy while being filmed? You’re choice, stop whining about it like someone owes you something. Its certainly not personal.

@Cam: Even in the “progressive” state of Illinois (it’s also a “green” state with no bottle return law) an employer can get rid of you for whatever reason at all. It’s called “at will” employment. You signed it upon hiring in. They can even work off the books to get you out by any means necessary – gay/straight/black/white/freakin’ puerto rican—-whatever.
