Taylor Bennett, hip-hop artist and Chance the Rapper’s brother, comes out as bi

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a 21st birthday than by unburdening all the baggage that comes with being in the closet, and Taylor Bennett clearly agrees.

The hip-hop artist, who is also Chance the Rapper’s younger brother, came out as bi in a series of Tweets on Wednesday, letting his fans know he’s comfortable with who he is.

He wrote:

My birthday is tomorrow & moving into next year I’d like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues… Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans… I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017. #ThankYou’
