So naturally, we were flabbergasted by the internet hoopla surrounding Taylor Lautner’s recent visit to gay bar The Abbey in West Hollywood, where he was photographed with Andrew Christian model Murray Swanby.
Murray posted this on his Instagram:
All this shows is that Taylor is comfortable in a gay bar — a gay bar, it should be noted, that regularly welcomes straight celebs as diverse as Hillary Clinton, Laurence Fishburne and the late Elizabeth Taylor.
But that didn’t stop some blogs from posting articles with headlines like “Did Taylor Lautner Just Come Out On Instagram?”
Even by our standards, that’s a stretch. Murray thought so too, responding, “If Taylor Lautner was coming out, I would have taken him home Thursday night.” Can’t argue with that logic.
Still, it’s nice to dream.

The Abbey isn’t necessarily a gay bar even though it’s in the heart of Weho. If you’re into the endless mind games and looking for that hot closet case it’s the place to go. FYI..all those “straight acting” dudes can be had about around 2-3 am so stick around.

I thought I read something a few years ago that insinuated Lautner wanted to come out but the studio and his managers were pressuring him to stay in because they wanted to turn him into the next Action Star.

He seems like a nice guy. I wish everyone could exhibit the sexual independence Harry Styles has: playing with innuendo, double-entendre, and even being able to nuzzle Ian McKellen in the most adorable way on the most recent Graham Norton show.
I don’t care about Taylor’s sexuality, but I hope his messages about sexuality are positive and accepting. If he’s gay, there’s very little chance he will ever be gay with me. If he supports gays… and the rest of the spectrum… that goes a long way toward affecting young psyches that are bombarded with negative messages.

Wasn’t that Russell Simmons who publicly congratulated Taylor on his “bravery” in coming out a while back? Then the coming out story was revealed as a hoax or something? Then the denial was contested as a fast return to the closet? Then the closet accusation was flatly denied? Oh, hell! give him time and a falling star image to own up to the fact that he is gay and proud of it. Need I remind you posters that Wentworth Miller was in a state of denial for years, until this year when he finally opened the ‘door’ and annoounced he was gay and proud of it! Why defend him like he was some damsel in distress and needed to be protected from the onslauts from people like myself? I’m sure it bemuses him to see the number of you (mostly gay?) coming to his defense! Hey! being gay is not bad,we have our moments, but we function well in most social situations and proud of who we are!

He is most likely gay as are 99% of the guys that feel the need to go to a gay bar which these bars are since they are in gay areas of town…….places we go to meet other men to date or to date for the night. I was once a closet case and it took a lot of therapy and the courage to tell my parents no matter what they did I was born to be with another man, it wasn’t because I was a woman trapped in a man’s body since to me that is really a crazy thought, but they wanted any excuse to cling to so they could fix me instead of supporting and loving their gay son and hoping he would find the right man to be happy with……… They thought and think of gay men as immoral sluts who do nothing but bed hop, funny I watched my straight brother do the same thing with women before he married and well during his three marriages, but gays are the sluts I would say to them………. Also women will marry fat, ugly, boring men who never work out or have any hopes of looking like a gay porn star as long as that man can buy them a home and car, so there is no reason for any of these straight dudes to be so gym happy unless they are keeping their bodies in gay porn shape for other men to look at…………….women care more about your job, bank account and the car you drive or the car they will soon have you buy them once they get knocked up……….

I really do feel sorry for him. I just did a google search on him and EVERY picture he is in with a woman looks akward. He looks so uncomfortable that it appears the photographer had pity and waited till his face was shielded from the lense.
