We have a bit of a fetish for greeting cards, you might have surmised. From showing off Queerty readers’ holiday cards to cherry picking the best coming out cards to reveling in David Ellis Dickerson’s adorable creations, we like anything that gives gays the chance to return to the golden days of correspondence — with handwritten notes. Which is why we’re thrilled to find Him To Him’s collection of personal notes and invitations aimed squarely at homosexuals.
And yes, they’re gay owned.

Ok, first of all I LOVE that there is a gay business doing this, and that the cards look like real cards and don’t have a bunch of naked guys on the beach because there are tons of those out there.
That said…..I just browsed the products and it seemed like every single card was very over the top sugary sweet.
The Commitment ceremony card..
Outside Message : The Big Day
Inside Message : Two souls become one as you unite in love. Celebrating your commitment ceremony.
The Anniversary Card
Outside Message : Another Year Of Bliss
Inside Message : Between you and I…Between partners. Happy Anniversary.
I’m not saying that they should completely change, and I’m definitly going to be buying the blank cards…just thought the others were a little syrupy.

I can handle cheesy, they are greeting cards after all, but grammar mistakes are unacceptable. “Between you and I…Between partners.” It should be “me” not “I”.

I’m a big fan of http://www.handsomedevilpress.com they do the similar, with wit, and style, and they also have an iphone app, which is totally adorable.

My favorite gay greeting cards are from Knor Designs at http://www.knordesigns.com/
His original artwork designs are fun and flirty. The card lines range from “closet” to “mom friendly” to “out and proud”.

Love that a gay business is doing this, but I think I’ll pass. These cards are a snooze fest. I much prefer some humor in my cards which is why I LOVE the ones from http://www.mikwright.com/

@Qjersey: I totally agree. I hate using the word ‘partner’ it’s too formal for a relationship, it’s not natural…it always reminds me of American Beauty as well.
