That Time Billy Eichner and Amy Poehler Attacked New York with Christmas Carols

One of the great perils of living in New York is that you might be just walking down the street and Billy Eichner will just start hollering at you.

This Christmas attack video is perhaps his greatest work yet, and not just because he is joined by national treasure Amy Poehler. Billy and Amy and a camera crew rush around New York, demanding that strangers sing carols.

Surprisingly, a lot of people don’t seem to know basic lyrics. Some weirdos don’t want to sing. And then then there’s a Jewish guy who Billy just runs right by, as if no Jew has ever heard “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Other highlights: refusing to associate with a baby after learning that its name is “Arrow,” briefly abducting one enthusiastic caroler, and a lady who starts singing the Happy Birthday song out of what looks like sheer terror.

Here are a few more Xmas videos involving various amounts of Poehler, SNL, and people named Billy. Feliz navidad, world.

Will people stop referring to this woman as a “National Treasure”? She’s actually a World Heritage Site.

Every time I see a Billy Eichner video I cringe all the way through, but laugh sooo hard. It’s such a weird mix. I love it.

      Poor Fernando.
