Has nobody learned anything from Tim Perry, the “Speedo student” who was nearly kicked out of school for masturbating in University of Hawai’i-Manoa classrooms? Apparently not Columbus State University student Nakita Holt, 21, and Jessica Bass, 18, who were both arrested on public indecency charges after a patrol officer allegedly caught them getting their freak on together in a library study room at the Georgia school. And then Bass had to do something even stupider: allegedly attempt to bribe the officer with $100 if he kept quiet. So now she’s facing bribery charges. CSU dean of students Chip Reese says the pair will have a disciplinary hearing to see if they also violated the student conduct code.

This is pathetic. If this had been a man and a woman going at it, would they have been arrested?
Recently, a male California university and a woman went at it on the rooftop of a building at his school and they weren’t arrested.
When is the last time you heard of a young heterosexual couple arrested for public indecency?

Libraries are for reading books, not for engaging in sexual activity. If you want to have sex with someone, go find a room of your own.

Not condoning public sex, but once again, the homos are arrested, while I guarantee if one of them had been a dude, the officer would have looked the other way.

And it is totally alright to be suspicious because we already know factually that people who are openly gay or perceived as gay are punished more harshly. So it’s definitely suspect. With that said, it may not be, solely because they did do something illegal, so it’s hard to feel sympathy.

College libraries have cameras all over. How long before we see the video.

Every square inch of a university writhes with sex, especially as dating declines and hookups fester; the more prestigious ones just don’t invoke police to deal with it.

I can honestly say that ANYONE caught having sex in a public place, especially a library would be arrested, regardless of sexuality.
That being said, do these girls look normal to you? At least the one on the right…JESUS CHRIST……They clearly aren’t just innocent dykes.
:)
Sex in college libraries is a longstanding straight tradition.

Went to a Catholic all girls high school… we had a problem with two girls who insisted on “christening” ever single room, closet, and slightly enclosed space after they started dating in their sophomore year. All of us students knew about them going at it because well a lot of us walked in on them and the teachers always suspected it but could never catch them in time. Those two even managed to get into the handicap rest area and only disabled girls had access to that room with a fingerprint scanner lock, fucking hated them for doing it on my sleeping sack. Then, of course, there was the forests the teachers never really could effectively keep couples out of the woods during my time there…. that’s where %95 of the sex going on in our school happened.

@whatever: lol! i heard dat.
@Pazmateo: i actually have a friend who is a security guard at a harvard library. i asked him about this a few months ago and he said that he has come across students getting down in the stacks. what he does is them they have 5 minutes to be out of there and then he walks away…then comes back in 5 minutes and they are always gone, surely embarrassed as all hell.
redball
oops: what he does is tell* them they have 5 minutes
so,,,
The fuck…?
I can see kicking them out of the library for this.
I can MAYBE see arresting them.
But actually pressing criminal charges is absurd — and to put their faces on TV? What is the point of that?
