Now that he’s once again floating the idea, he’s suddenly against letting women get abortions. How to explain the switch? “People change their positions all the time, the way they change their wives,’” says Michael Cohen, the EVP of the Trump Organization and the man behind ShouldTrumpRun.com. “What you stood for 11 years ago you may not be standing for today. Maybe it was the birth of his five children or his grandchild that changed his mind.” How, then, to explain his opposition to marriage equality? Hard to tell. I believe Mr. Trump was too distracted violating the institution of marriage.
