The Other Reason To Spin the Dreidel This Hannukah

The Regulars Comic, from Karl Hampe, is published every Friday on Queerty.

The Regulars Comic is a fun, snarky take on what might happen if a gay, urban attorney burn-out wound up running a coffee bar. It’s an irreverent weekly, web-based look at the silly, sexy, and enraging clash between gay pride and daily prejudice. Visit TheRegularsComic.com for more, and check it out on Facebook.

These cartoons aren’t even vaguely funny.
Do you get paid to post them, or what?

For some funnier (and informative) gay comic work, check out my DeviantArt gallery’s Time Traveling Twinks section. First strip is here: http://rebelcomx.deviantart.com/gallery/27055612#/d2m6pgn Just hit the PREV button to go back through the list to get to newer editions.

These comics are annoying, because I expect them to be funny, and when they’re not (always), it messes with my head. Am I consistently missing the punchlines, are do they really suck as much as they seem to?

So Morning Goods is apparently gone but these just keep coming…

This strip is sort of the gay version of The Family Circus; not at all funny or interesting.

You guys just don’t get it. It’s a very subtle lowkey humor that only truly sophisticated Manhattanites understand. You must all be from Staten Island or someplace. Or..

  • BeenThere

    …..okay. They just suck.

Um, “shamash” is just the candle that lights the other candles. Why would someone have to “get it ready”?

  • REBELComx

@Rob: Perhaps it needs to be cleaned after some…inappropriate, non-kosher usage?
