Rugby guys are some of the hottest men on the planet. They’re big, beefy, athletic piles of muscle, and they often have a more liberal approach than other sportsmen when it comes to man on man contact.

Here’s the Queerty guide to hot rugby men:

1. Rugby guys look good wet

You may have already guessed this, but we have confirmation here. On Sunday night (March 30th), the New Zealand Sevens Rugby Team beat England 26-7 in 2014 Hong Kong Sevens Tournament.

They celebrated with a ‘haka’ — a traditional war dance from the Maori people of New Zealand that is now used by the national rugby teams before/after a game:

2. Rugby guys love making naked calendars

3. There are lots of gay rugby teams around the world.

Every two years, The Bingham Cup, affectionally known as the Gay Rugby World Cup takes place in a host city – this year it’s taking place in Sydney:

There are some fantastic straight allies in the form of rugby players. Take Ben Cohen — he retired from professional rugby to work full-time on his Stand Up Foundation — a charity dedicated to eliminating homophobia from schools and sport.

5. ‘Straight’ rugby guys like kissing each other when they’re drunk

This documentary from the UK followed two rugby teams on a night out. These guys drink a lot, even by British standards, and when they’re drunk, they’re up for pretty much anything. Head to 11:00 if you want to see the action straight away.
