Ben and Sam like it raw.
No, not the kind that leads to a high risk of contracting all sorts of unwanted STIs (more on that here), but the other raw lifestyle.
You know, the one with dehydrated sunflower seed crackers, juiced kale and dried goji berries. Sorry to disappoint.
But clearly the raw diet is doing these two Aussies justice, as they’ve decided to appear in the buff to promote their new raw cafe called Acai Brothers.
If only raw walnuts tasted remotely like bacon.

I’d eat the Acai Brothers.
vive
Shouldn’t it be açai, not acai?
Tackle
This takes me back to the old days. When the word raw, or saying you liked it raw, or raw things, ment something else…
rickhfx
Full body shaving, whats up with that?
rdujetz
I’d eat their nuts and sprouts.

@vive:
Well, it’s açaí. Pronounced: oss ahh ee. Emphasis on the ee.
Silas Wegg
@rickhfx: They’re naturally smooth
RIGay
Beautiful boys, but ya know… if you don’t have the genetics to support it, you can eat kale until you crap green and you’ll still be built like a blob. I remember the last time I did that “raw” diet; yes, I did have guys chasing me; they were from Macy’s and thought one of their balloons escaped.
ocdj63
@RIGay: hahahaa
yaletownman
Ok, that is it. Every time I meet an Aussie guy he’s hotter than hell. Today I met one of my neighbors while walking my dog and he was gorgeous. All of this is a sign from the God’s that I’m supposed to make it with an Aussie or two or three or ……….
WT-NZ
@yaletownman: Kiwis are hotter 😛
jwtraveler
“unwanted STIs”? Are there some that you want? I’ll take raw walnuts over greasy strips of pig fat any day.
Saint Law
What is that – an advert? I couldn’t concentrate on a word that came out of their mouths.
rickhfx
Yawn.

Some years back, I met an Aussi airline pilot at a mutual friends dinner party in New York City.
He spent three days with me and had to fly back.
I never saw him again, but I have some lovely memories.
He was almost hairless, uncut 7″, and an ass to die for, while I wouldn’t say he was a great beauty, he did kinda fill his uniform rather nicely.
mz.sam
YUM! I’m hungry for a raw Açai Bros. sandwich!
maxdadmark
@RIGay: You are absolutely right, and it is nice to see someone post a written version of a reality slap! This site idolizes an ideal appearance (at least in some men’s minds) that is possible to achieve by maybe 1% of the population (if that).
vive
@maxdadmark, I don’t think you are right. Look at people in Japan, India, some countries in Europe, urban Canada, urban U.S., and even news footage of the general U.S. population 30-40 years ago – most are/were relatively thin compared to the current U.S. average.

Genetics is maybe .5-1% of what effects your body composition if that, and mainly that is hormones and age factors. It is almost entirely of what you eat and exercise (90%/10%) that dictates how your body will be. And if anyone tells you otherwise they are fooling themselves and yourself.
Food is not the same as it was 40-50 years ago in America. Almost all mainstream restaurant food is bad for you. Almost everything you buy in a box is bad for you. Most of it with chemicals that not only are not good for you but change the way your body processes food and also affects your hormones. Even produce is being altered in America. We can’t even sell our meat overseas because other countries will not buy it and have outlawed it because of all the crap we put in it.
Being raw is not 100% healthy as well. Juicing is a big fad. But if you don’t eat the fiber along with all that fruit sugar your going to gain weight unless you are an athlete and metabolize all of that sugar. All that sugar regardless of where it comes from (a candy bar or fruit juice) is processed the same way in your body and is treated the same.
The best thing you can do is go to the local farmers market and buy your meats, eggs and produce. Yes they maybe a little more expensive, but in the long run you will save money by not having medical issues down the road. Also you don’t need to eat as much meat if it is a healthier cut of meat.
American’s for the last 15-20 years are not as active as they once were coupled along with horrible food = obesity.
The biggest thing most people can do today to stop gaining weight is portion control and eating high fiber foods (mainly veggies, a lot of veggies and healthy grains). Your plate should be 50% VEGGIES, 25% protein (lean) and 25% carb if you wish. You follow that for your meals and you will lose weight, I promise.

Quit fetishizing “Russian Roulette”…..and YES, I read the article, it’s about food….and you are still fetishizing bareback sex.
