If this doesn’t restore your faith in humanity, nothing will.
Ruby is five years old. She lives in Ireland where same-sex marriage is currently being debated, and she has a few thoughts she’d like to share with the world.
First, she says she wants to get a big stick and a white piece of cardboard and make a sign that says, in her words: “Two boys can get married! Two girls can get married! Love is love!”
When asked her opinions about gay marriage, she replies: “I think that, like, [it’s] actually fine…I wonder why people don’t think that. People just think that a boy and girl can get married. But two girls can get married. And two boys can get married and smooch.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

I´m sorry but did anyone else get the feeling that the girl is a little bit “coached” ?
I´d rather have kids come to these kinds of conclusions themselves because of the actions and discussions of their parents/environment and not being fed this one-liners like “Love is love”…
The mom has to keep the child on track constantly like “Hey, we are making a video here. Look into the camera and say what we practiced…” and in the end the “..because what…?”…
It´s like repeating a lesson they just had…
Feels/looks very staged to me…

Before marriage equality was law in Canada I was at dinner at my brother and sister in laws house. Meals are a bit noisy in my family as there is always discussion and no topics are excluded. We were discussing marriage equality going to legal in Canada. In a lull in the conversation my nephew who was six at the time said “maybe boys should kiss boys and girls should kiss girls”. My brother and his wife looked at me smiling and I asked why do you think so J…? Without missing a beat he explained “well they have the same germs”.
