How are you gonna play like this competition’s no fair and Milk deserved better and then turn around and say she’s been “consistently failing” and that “we’ve seen enough.” Darienne was bad this week, but she’s been middle of the road before and won a challenge. Milk was pretty dreadful as well this week and didn’t have the past to back her up. Trinity only survived on the lipsynch. She’ll be gone soon enough.

Ben, Bianca, and Adore are top three. Joslyn and Courtney will round out top five.

Darienne is DEVOID of talent? Girrrll, your bitter is showing. DeLa may be your favorite, but I’m pretty sure she can handle some shade.

I nearly split my sides laughing when Darienne wore that oversized huge black vinyl outfit and stood up during rap rehearsals and toppled into the metal trash cans. It was the funniest thing I’ve seen this season.

….after all, when you see rappers with their “swag” and head bobs and eye rolls, don’t you wish them to stumble over their feet and crash right into trash cans?

Did everyone else make the connection between Bianca’s motherly advice to Trinity in episode 6 to her shady read of Trinity in episode 2: “Trinity reminds me of a dear friend of mine from New Orleans. She’s dead.”

Thank you! Fun review and I’m loving the longer overview format. Please keep doing these!

I agree with most of what you said. I love Ben, but I am still holding out the thought that Bianca could come through and win it. I LOVE that Bianca isn’t afraid to speak up when people like Gia or Laganga are being transparently crazy, but she is ALSO smart enough and confident enough to shut them down quickly. If Bianca had been on Shangela’s or Roxxxy’s seasons season nobody would remember them because they would have been afraid to speak up after the first time. lol

I posted last week that Darienne seemed like she might be a mean girl in hiding. I think we’re seeing that, totally agree. The only comment in the article I disagree with about Darienne is “Her fashion choices are obviously limited,” And the only reason I disagree with the author is that Delta Work was a very big girl and turned it out week after week on that runway. So Darienne I think could do better, she just doesn’t know how to and isn’t used to having to in my opinion.

I wanted to like milk. But when you need to TELL people what you are because you don’t seem to be able to show it as much, I lost interest. Well that and that damn brown lip outliner.

Adore, thought she was a waste of space at first and now loving her, and LOVE the friendship with Bianca that seems to have developed. I like that Bianca can see something she likes and gives her credit for it, and Adore is smart enough to see Bianca’s talent and see through the tough act. It’s the Hallmark moment.

I’m liking Joslyn more and more every week, but frankly Joslyn needs to stop sucking Courtney’s proverbial D*ck. I like Courtney and love her commentary but I’m thinking Joslyn has more to offer.

Trinity, ugh, stop complaining. Shannel had a reason to bitch when she turned a woman who looked like a linebacker into a Janet Jackson lookalike and yet Rebecca (Ru’s Fav) still won. TRINITY on the other hand, just keeps bitching about nothing. When Bianca asked her what does she do well…..That single question was better than a year of college for her.

Love the post! Keep them coming!!

Courtney and Ganja are big in the WeHo scene, so don’t be surprised if that carries them further than they would be on talent alone. Drag Race has deep connections in West Hollywood, lots of WeHo scenesters are behind the scenes on the show and on screen (a few of the Pit Boys are big scene queens).

I believe that Ben won’t win for the same reason Alaska didn’t win (even though she should have) because she is in too close with the previous winner, even though she will most likely be top three the clear winner in my eyes (and I may be bias cause I know her personally) is Bianca simply because most would’ve thought it was going to be easy to edit Bianca to be the bitch of the season but her motherly and sweet side is being shown more and more, which is a very good ploy to make most of America fall in love with her. And after this episode I think adore is the close runner up for winner this season. She charming, smarter then she lets on, and all around pretty freaking talented. Joslyn has grown on me and I’m hoping she will kick off Courtney, whom I was a huge fan of but she has been totally lack luster this entire season so far. Darrienne Trinity and Langanja are all gone in my book already (ESPECIALLY LAGANJA, she really needs professional help AND to get a life).

Did the writer of this article actually use the word “jipped”?

Laganja is turning into an eerily sad echo of Tatiana from season two.

I agree with nearly everything you’ve said in this review, with the exception of Bianca. Again, full disclosure; I know her, I’m from New Orleans and we both worked extensively in theatre there. She truly is EVERYTHING you see onscreen, and much, much more. Bianca is the whole package: experience, talent on top of talent, a lightning wit, and a heart as big as Lake Pontchartrain. I believe she has the stuff to make it to the top. And even if, for some insipid reason she doesn’t make it to the crown, her career will continue on long past Drag Race. I’m also a big fan of Ben DeLaCreme, Adore, and Courtney Act (who truly is an international star in the best sense.) I am hoping this will be the year when TWO queens are crowned instead of just one. Now, if we can just get rid of Laganja…please! Every time she hits the runway I find myself repeating “break a heel, break a heel, break a heel!”

“Adore is my underdog this season. She’ll definitely end up in the top three”

^ Are you serious? Top three?
She has no place in the top three. Her makeup needs serious work, her runways have been hideous every…single…time.

She nailed the 90s challenge and it’s the only time I’ve actually liked her makeup.

I’m not a fan and I just don’t see top 3 material from her.

Adore’s grown on me, but if the competition were fair, she would have lip synced for her life in her first two challenges.

Good writeup, but Bianca is winning. I don’t know why, week after week, Queerty has a problem seeing the future on this.
