Everyone handles rejection differently. Some people simply shrug it off and move on. Others may resort to more self-destructive behavior, like drinking or gambling or some other form of high-risk behavior. Then there are those who lock themselves in their apartments and wallow in their pain until their egos have recovered.
Comedian and vlogger Brian Jordan Alvarez, the same fella who recently brought us the hi-larious video about how gay guys interact when straight people aren’t around, has teamed up with Go-Go Boy Interrupted web series actor Jimmy Fowlie in the new short called When Gay Guys Get Rejected to demonstrate just what happens when your average gay guy gets denied, we have to say, it’s not totally inaccurate.

Judging from that wall the mail box in on and the Valley twink accents this is no doubt southern California. I always thought if they got rejected they went back to the gym and worked all the harder on their buns. It had to be that missed workout the last Thursday of this past May that caused the rejection (even though we are now damn near in September). Yeah, that’s it.

I was thinking the same thing but were I doing it I would make it an online hookup. A guy thinking he is god’s gift to gay men getting rejected happens far more often than people might think. When I lived in NYC I could always tell when a hookup went wrong because they would stay away from the gym for weeks at a time after they left walking damn near hand in hand with a hot guy who had just joined. We old queens notice such things. Just call us the locker room “Edna’s”.
