Britney Spears has been trending on Twitter all day after the Hollywood Reporter published a bombshell interview with her lawyer about how he moved at record speed through the typically sluggish L.A. court system to free her from her abusive conservatorship.
One of the things being circulated is a clip from a 2013 interview the singer did alongside will.i.am on Ryan Seacrest‘s iHeartRadio show. She was promoting her eighth studio album Britney Jean when the two guys started talking about their relationships with women, much to the pop star’s surprise.

After Ryan said he sometimes sprayed “girls’ cologne on my pillow to make me think they’re there,” with Lancome’s Tresore being his perfume of choice, Britney turned to will.i.am and mouthed the word “girl?” before looking back and forth between the two men, deeply confused.

Seacrest has been the subject of gay rumors for years. In the past, he has been romantically linked to models Sara Jean Underwood and Shayna Taylor, as well as Dancing with the Stars performer Julianne Hough.

We are all Britney. I mean, c’mon. It’s a pretty common “secret” that Ryan is gay or bi, but he’s afraid it will hurt his earning potential. Fast forward to twenty years when he comes out publicly but will say ppl in his private circle have known for years, blah blah

I love Ryan Seacrest but this interview clip is hilarious! Without saying one word, Britney conveys so much confusion, curiosity and the desire to make a few comments or jokes. She looks so sweet here.
