Traffic in Austin, Texas was absolutely insane yesterday afternoon, thanks to at least four naked men who were clogging the roadways with explicit sexual performances.
This was the breaking news out of Time Warner’s own News Austin station around 6pm last night, which tweeted out the vital information with four sexy gay porn photos (one selfie) with the caption “TRAFFIC: Your 5:12 p.m. update. Too many!”
No! Not enough!
(Go here for a much better screenshot)
The hilarious misstep was obviously the work of a horny production assistant with terrible multitasking skills, though Time Warner would probably prefer you believed they were “hacked” or something.
Perhaps the most offensive thing about the entire situation is TWC News Austin’s asinine response, which refers to the material at hand as “offensive”:
We sincerely apologize for an earlier tweet which contained offensive content. We are investigating what happened.

These kind of mishaps are actually quite common, and unfortunately, the ensuing apologies are always full of puritanical shame and disgrace. “Unfortunate,” “explicit,” “irrelevant,” maybe. But offensive? Offensive to whom?
You’d think a studio full of educated (?), well-written (?) journalists (?) would be able to come up with better language than that.
Larry
Its NOT Time Warner. Do you see the TWC? Time Warner owns CNN and HBO. TWC is the CABLE company you idiots.

Damn, they’re all blurred out now. Did any snap the originals?

You guys didn’t know? This is the work of the hackers on 4chan. Duh.

@ethan_hines: A girl named @jenqueue captured them. She retweeted them. You can see them on her account.

@Larry: Yes, and the “TW” in “TWC” stands for “Time Warner,” so calm down.
Bryguyf69
@ethan_hines: Enjoy. I expect them to be taken off Twitter soon once someone complains.

@Bryguyf69: Thank you for posting that link. I really do appreciate when people have the heart to share things that won’t be shown in their “entirety” on some gay sites due to sanctimonious gays who will cry about vulgarity. Rest assured they will be the very ones who hit that mouse so hard that it might crack to get to the link. Thanks again.

@Bob LaBlah: No problem. Unfortunately, they were somewhat of a letdown for me. Then again, I see naked patients at the office so I’m somewhat bored with nudity. But I can definitely see how this would be a shocker in conservative Texas! For what it’s worth, the least explicit 4th photo is my favorite. That wicked smile is a definite turn on.

@Bob LaBlah, I agree, but I suspect the reason these are blurred out is that Queerty doesn’t want to get banned by the Million Moms who run Apple and Facebook.

@Larry: Not sure what your issue is. Time Warner Cable is very commonly known as “Time Warner,” even by those in the media business. I’ve even heard Time Warner Cable staff refer to themselves as “Time Warner” when I call or visit their offices here in NYC, i.e. to exchange equipment. In fact, if you look at its Wikipedia entry, there is a mention that it’s often just known as “Time Warner.” It’s simply easier to say, and “TWC” is already better known for The Weather Channel. Furthermore, few consumer have a need to talk about the non-cable media company, Time Warner, so there is little confusion among the masses.
In short, don’t be a Drama Queen because it’s a non-issue.

What’s gay about the pictures, though? Afaict there is just one guy in each picture.
Bryguyf69
@vive: I think the implication is that they were taken from a gay site or gay porn movie. Don’t know for sure.
