Well, it’s finally completely over for McCain. Any respect for his military & public
service is now completely eradicated by his utter bigotry toward gay people.

Disgusting. After repeal of DADT proved all the fear-mongering to be unfounded, these handful of idiots still cling to their beliefs over facts. But that’s the GOP for you…

Perhaps you should leave the political writing to someone who actually learned the difference between the house and senate in 6th grade. He didn’t “lose his seat in the house to Claire McCaskill”. He left his House seat to run for the Senate against McCaskill…

@petensfo: Agreed. Anyone who would leverage their military credentials to dehumanize and publicly shame gay and lesbian sevicemembers is an embarrassment to the uniform and to my home state of AZ.

These men are gifts that keep on giving, steering farther off course with every one of these bigoted bills banged out of their hate-filled hearts. It’s like watching air being let out of a balloon. Irrelevance, this slo-mo train wreck is happening right before our twitchin’ orbs. It truly makes me wonder if McCain was sexually abused, as his vehemence is telling. As for “Legitimate Rape” Akin’s role in these bills, that is merely unchecked superiority, unmerited, of course. These clowns are the laughing stock of their party. When are they going to be silenced? Irreparable damage.

Akin is simply achin’ from being a has been who never was. What a total embarrassment, even to his own party. Good bye… good riddance!

@petensfo: I don’t think McCan’t learned a thing from his military experience, much less from his holiday in the prison camp experience. He simply didn’t suffer enough, judging from his obnoxious stand on GLBTQ rights! Let the man suffer!

Under his “conscience protection” clause, the military would have to “accommodate the conscience and sincerely held moral principles and religious beliefs of the members of the Armed Forces concerning the appropriate and inappropriate expression of human sexuality.””

What if their sincerely held moral belief is that women are sex objects and don’t ahve the right to say no to any man who wants to use them as such?

What if their sincerely held moral belief is that black people married to white people shouldn’t be allowed to serve?

THIS is all the GOP cares about, not about the economy, the govt. etc… they just want to keep their bigotry intact.

He looks like he’s a friend of Larry Craig’s. That would explain a lot.

Sometimes it’s embarrassing to admit that I’m from Missouri…”oh my God is that the place where that guy said that women have magic vaginas that can shut down sperm?” Um…yes it is. But I live in the city! In other thoughts: why do straight men have such a fascination with gay men? They obviously think about us to such a degree that they’re going to sit down to write a piece of bullshit legislation talking about our sexuality. Why can’t they focus on their own family? And poor McCain…it must suck hard when your wife and kids are way cooler than you are. And for the record, Akin didn’t “lose” his house seat. He went up against McCaskill in a Senate race and had to give up his house seat to do so.

2eo, I can’t say that. It’s too much. I’ve seen too much suffering to wish disease on anyone. The, “nature has a way of shutting this whole thing down” was a play on this imbecile’s rape comment.

@1EqualityUSA: You are a nicer man than I. Some people make the world better by leaving it painfully, he is one of those people.

So let me get this straight, gay men and women are making the ultimate sacrafice for their country, risking life and limb, and these military chaplins, who sit in saftey and comfort, far from the battlfield want to humiliate and dehumanize them? How anti American!
If I were a soldier and one of those pigs tried that on me, he’d end up at the enemy’s doorstep, hog tied, blind folded with an apple in his mouth.

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly hate the Republican party and all that it presently stands for, they never fail to surprise. The demographic makeup of this nation can’t change fast enough!
