Hell hath no fury like a lover with 1 million+ Instagram followers scorned, and right now Todrick Hall is in an all too familiar place: heart broken, trust shattered, fingers furiously typing.
The musician and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge took to his Instagram story to let off a little, OK a lot, of steam after his relationship went south, and let’s just say he served piping hot oolong, black, green, white, pu-erh — all the tea.

If you are referring to the use of “they’re”, it is correct, a contraction of “they are”. Your asterisk is for a possessive, which would be incorrect syntax in that context.

Here you are mistaken. In #3, the first two uses of “they’re” is correct; however, in “they’re (sic) new secret side fling isn’t around” the “they’re” is not correct and should be their. The possessive their is required because it is modifying a noun…the word fling.
