“I train six hours a day, six days a week. It’s not as if it’s something that happens just from going to the gym for 20 minutes or an hour a day.
My life’s about getting to the point where I’m in the physical shape that I can do all my diving the best that I can. So, I do feel bad and I wouldn’t want to make anyone feel that way. But I know that if anyone else trained for six hours a day, six days a week, they would get the same result…
Outside of the pool I don’t walk around the house in my trunks! The other day, an old lady came up to me and said: ‘Gosh, I don’t recognize you with your clothes on!’ and I guess people see me on TV and diving with no clothes on. It’s nice to go to a photoshoot and actually wear something.”—Tom Daley, discussing gay men’s complicated relationship with their physiques for Attitude‘s Body issue.
Billy Budd
I would like to see him wearing nothing at all. Get rid of the tiny speedos please.
Jim
I’m with you, Billy. TD can do no wrong.

6 hours a day, 6 days a week and only a bronze at the Olympics? What more can a bloke do?
ChrisK
Tom won the Gold. He caught the eye of a famous Screen writer.
justin1290
maybe tom should worry more about his personal “complicated relationship”and not how gay men feel about their bodies….
Frank
Simply put his body is his job…
Lastly, at 48 years old standing 6’2″ weighing 188 lbs with a 32 inch waist and definition…I tend to think I have him beat by 26 years of life experience that the magic equation for me is 75% diet and 25% exercise
Billy Budd
I agree that the secret is not how much exercise you do, but what you eat.
Blackceo
Umm well….who would be comparing Daley’s physique to their own unless they are an Olympic swimmer?
Agree with Frank and Billy Budd. I will be 40 next year and as I’ve gone through my 30s I’ve learned its much more about nutrition than exercise. Once I turned 35 I realized I just can’t eat the same things I did at 25. Thats when I pretty much went organic only, cut out most sugars and saturated fats. Portion control and lots of fruits and vegetables are the name of the game. Of course its healthy I feel to indulge but its the kind of thing that is to be done sporadically as opposed to daily. I’m lucky now with work and other obligations if I get 3 days a week in to work out. I definitely get 2 but its sometimes hard to get that third day in. However, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever looked or felt better in my life and I am very much looking forward to 40!!

What I like most about Tom’s physique are his hairy legs, which look even hotter when they’re wet, and his smile, neither of which he got at the gym.

Agree with everyone about his looks and body. But, however there is a photo of him in a 3-piece suit.
(Google, y’know.) Outstanding! I never thought that clothing could look so good on a guy. Or that a guy could look so good in a 3-piece suit. Makes me want to take it off of him one piece at a time.
Fantasy, sometimes, is as much fun as the real thing. No, I’m wrong, but since the real thing is impossible, I shall deal with the fantasy. Fun, and he is a smart young man. Let’s wish him well.
Eddie Jr
Truth be told the body would do nothing for me without that beautifully handsome face. Is that a shallow thing to say?
dgsea06
Eddie Jr- No, not shallow. Honest. But have you heard him talk? Lovely voice that just amplifies his intelligence. BTW I like his body!
eightinchnail
Significantly shallower than the pool he often dives in to.
