Tomi Lahren crawls out from under her bridge to attack the queer community

Right-wing bottle blond provocateur Tomi Lahren has lashed out at the queer community, claiming that the undermines masculinity and marriage.

Lahren, no stranger to attacks on LGBTQ people, condemned the community as part of a broader attack on “the left” for attacking masculinity.

“I just don’t get this ongoing and continual assault on masculinity by the Left,” Lahren tweeted. “You can be a proud part of the LGBT community and movement without attacking traditional men and marriage at every turn.”

The attack netted Lahren immediate backlash, with fellow Twitter users wondering what had even prompted it in the first place. Other users noted the difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity–social norms that drive men to attack others out of a need for validation.

Lahren has become something of a joke in the political world. A staunch supporter of Donald Trump, Lahren earlier this year attacked activist adult film star Stormy Daniels on Twitter. In 2017, she admits that she benefits from Obamacare while arguing for its dissolution. Lahren also has a long history of racist diatribes comparing the #BlackLivesMatter movement to the Ku Klux Klan, and characterizing the 2018 Central American Migrant Caravan as riddled with disease.
