This was very funny on the Onion website when I first saw it. Posting a link on here is a great idea. Not mentioning anywhere that it’s satire is lame. Why (on any day but April 1) should your readers and twitter followers not be told going into a story that you’re posting it for a laugh? The Google News page pulls articles from satirical sites, but it includes “(satire)” right next to the headline. Consider that in the future.

it’s obvious that this isn’t real, I don’t see why people would even consider questioning it, not everything has to be so serious, I get motion sickness too but I would of still rode on the penis float. 🙂

Everything about The Onion is SATIRE none of it is meant to be taken seriously or to ponder in an intellectual way.Basically you turn your brain off enjoy it and laugh thats exactly what everyone from the Onion wants their fans and viewers to do.For instance they had one about a white girl being tried as a 300 pd black male and one of the jurist when the girl walked by took her purse and clutched it up to her chest I about died laughing lol They do make people think actually with their videos like making fun of racism and how ridiculous and ignorant it is the same applies to how they deal with their gay topics on Onion also.

Seriously people, did you not see the “LOL” above the post? and dont you think if there was a real news story about a town with one gay man having a parade it would have made bigger headlines? Have a sense of humor, the Onion is excellently written satire that points out the flaws in our society like no other. If you seriously watched this or even saw this and had to ask was it real you clearly need a mental makeover.
