Trans Georgia Woman Fired For Dressing As a Lady Beats State Boss In Court

Vandy Beth Glenn (nee Glenn Morrison), a former Georgia state legislative aide had her constitutional rights violated when she was fired after telling her boss, Legislative Counsel Sewell Brumby, she would begin coming to work dressed as a woman as she underwent a MTF transition, ruled federal U.S. District Judge Richard W. Story. Brumby’s claim that Glenn’s colleagues would be put in an awkward position and that lawmakers would find the transition “immoral” was, in fact, a violation under the Equal Protection Clause.
