The Navy doctor accused of secretly filming his fellow sea men begins today in Washington where Commander Kevin J. Ronan faces a prescription-strength court-martial covering seven counts of conduct unbecoming an officer, three counts of illegal wiretapping and one count of obstruction of justice.
…not to mention a couple of gigabytes’ worth of Internet porn a Naval investigation discovered on Ronin’s computer following allegations by two academy students that Ronin secretly recorded them using a modified night-vision camera rigged to capture the carnality of cadets who stayed at his home while on leave. Ronin’s lawyer has said he plans to evoke the ol’ “someone else must have downloaded all of that” defense. It’s shaping up to be one hell of a judicial review.
