It’s always so hard to know if Trump knows what he’s doing. Could anyone actually be such a thick, crowing moron? He’s like a parody character in a second-rate improv show.
He even repeated his stupid grammar: “They don’t write good. They have people over there, like Maggie Haberman and others, they don’t — they don’t write good,” he said. “They don’t know how to write good.”

And yet the dummies who believe that he’s a leader, and not simply a rich idiot with no ideas, are still lapping up his rhetoric. They don’t read the New York Times; they don’t like the New York Times; they don’t care that he can’t put together a proper sentence. What does Trump have to lose by attacking a newspaper?
He later threatened to pull the NY Times‘ credentials, which would make it a lot harder for the paper to cover him. His complaint: the paper isn’t reporting fairly or accurately. This may be part of a longer strategy to have someone to blame when he loses the election: he can claim in November that the election was rigged and unfair, and he would have won if not for media bias.
Because of course, nothing bad that happens to Donald is ever Donald’s fault. He’s a perfect man who never does anything wrong, a precious little baby prince.

Really? The LGBT aspect of the story is that when looking at actual facts, as opposed to rhetoric and imagination the Democratic party has been overwhelmingly better in terms of LGBT rights than the Republican party. A simple look at their respective platforms makes that clear and undeniable. So it makes sense that Queerty support Clinton.
Additionally there are a huge number of gay folks who abhor grammatical errors when they are intentional and come from a man who should know better. Compare his crude speaking skills to the eloquence of President Obama. Is that what we want representing our country on the international stage? Do we want a man whose every tweet and every utterance betrays a thin skinned, mean spirited narcissist?
Perhaps you do, but most don’t.

@Alistair Wiseman: Additionally think back to the incident of Bush giving Angela Merkel a brief shoulder massage, her response and the embarrassment to our diplomatic corps. Unlike most of the 20th century when the Republicans understood diplomacy decorum and protocol, folks like Bush, and now Trump are too thoughtless to pay attention to that sort of thing. Most gay folks understand the fine points of manners and ritual behavior essential to diplomacy, as does Clinton. Trump clearly does not and has demonstrated his lack of understanding repeatedly.

More likely than not I was responding to the tone of posts from you and your compatriots. In the posts, which were never directed to you, you called me (among other things) a “heterosexual asshole” and stated, “You should die and make this world a better place by your death. I am sure you were tickled pink by the murders in Orlando, and wish more gay folks had been killed (especially since they were mostly people of color).”
My boyfriend, a person of color, would not be amused by your vile and hateful rantings.
So I urge you, please show me how I prompted you to wish for my death. What exactly did I say that sent you over the top?
A bit of advice, the next time you hit the ‘send’ button make sure you put the wine bottle down first. Drinking or not, I would never wish for yours or anybody elses death simply over a political disagreement.

I unintentionally focused anger on you more than others more deserving. Especially a poster whose name also began with A who clearly was not gay and seemed pleased by the killings. Bashing Obama on a thread dealing with hateful evangelicals, especially based on a lack of understanding was simply the last straw for me.
You did not deserve the things I said in that post, and I apologize for that. But you still share the rather unrealistic world view of the LCR group and seem to act in opposition to the continued advancement of LGBT people. @Brian: Even a simple person recognizes that a president must wear many hats, and that the requirements of diplomacy are many and varied. Singapore remains important economically and strategically. Out of curiosity were you similarly outraged when President Bush held hands with and kissed the princes of the House of Saud, arguably way more anti-gay than Singapore (where laws are less strict and have not been enforced in years, and where the gay nightlife is encouraged for the money it brings in).
It is OBVIOUSLY easier for a celebrity to choose carefully the parties he attends than is is for a president of the United States to snub a head of state.
