It looks as though the circus has officially officially begun. On Friday morning, Donald Trump announced on Twitter that stridently antigay Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana was his pick for his Vice Presidential running mate. Hurray!

But not just that, Trump also released the pair’s official campaign logo in an email to supporters. The logo appears to show the “T” (for Trump) forcefully penetrating the “P” (for Pence). It’s oddly homoerotic, in a crusty old Republican alphabetical sort of way.

Pence wasn't going to get re-elected as gov so he might as well run for VP, right? #MikePence

I mean, Mike Pence knows something about making a controversial decision and then feverishly backtracking on it.

I guess Mike Pence is "commonsense," if you believe healthcare providers should be able to deny care to LGBT people is "commonsense."

Breaking News: @realDonaldTrump is still a fucking asshole. And now this Asshole @mike_pence is going to lose with him in November.

I am NOT saying this with a song in my heart but the reality of the situation translates to we had better start “wondering” what would happen in the event this guy does end up winning this election. He is actually ahead of her in Florida and neck and neck or single digits behind her in key battle ground states. It would not shock me if HE and not HER ended up winning NY state. This is disturbing folks.
This guy has NO business in that oval office. If a choice is mandatory to make I would accept his VP over him. Love him or hate him he (his VP choice) demonstrated that he did understand what compromise meant but knucklehead clearly does not.
Brian
Hillary wants to import migrants whose values are fundamentally hostile to the cause of gay rights. Trump is correct on that.
Brian
As for the log, it’s typical of homophobic liberals to speculate homophobically about it.
Face it – liberals are homophobic towards male homosexual desire. Male homosexual desire threatens liberals because it represents power over women.
Brian
In January, I hope to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump while all you pathetic liberals cry in your soups. It will be refreshing to have a President who truly cares about gays.
Hillary is a zilch candidate – she says nothing, does nothing, and thus enables the enemies of male homosexual desire.
Masc Pride
@Brian: I think liberals are actually quite accepting of gay men that carry purses, wear makeup, women’s clothing, etc. Liberals will demand acceptance for the GBF types. It’s the guys that don’t show any outward signs of being gay that make liberals uncomfortable and about as accepting and tolerant as conservatives. People generally don’t have problems with the folks who fit into the appropriate boxes to which society has relegated them.

A “T penetrating a P”?
Really?
Must everything be sexualized?

I’ve come to the conclusion bogus brain Brian is a plant to get ratings up on this site. As some say, “don’t feed the trolls” cuz it keeps them coming back.
Kangol
@Bob LaBlah: But I thought you supported him. If I’ve misread your posts in the pasts, my apologies.
I do agree that we should begin to think seriously about the possibility of his election. Many people I know refused to believe that Bush could win in 2000, though he the same sort of media adoration Trump is getting. 2001-2008, or Bush’s presidency with GOP Congressional rule, turned out to be one of the most disastrous periods in US history, beginning with 9/11, the anthrax attacks, a ballooning deficit and debt, and Enron’s collapse, through the horrific Iraq War (we’re still in), Hurricane Katrina, anti-gay statutes passed all over the US, nd then, to top it off, the domestic and global financial collapse, which began in 2007.
Trump doesn’t seem to have solid plans for anything, just slogan. Some of his macroeconomic policy statements are just nuts. But he could become President. I hope people are paying attention and planning for what might happen if this occurred.
Alistair Wiseman
@Kangol:
“…though he [sic] the same sort of media adoration Trump is getting.”
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is what liberalism does to your mind. To state that the mainstream media engages in “media adoration” of Donald Trump and former President George W. Bush shows the complete disconnect from reality.
Alistair Wiseman
Hey, Queerty!
Desperate much?
Kangol
@Alistair Wiseman: Can you read? The media went gaga over George W. Bush from 1999-2000. Google Bob Somerby or any number of other media critics who’ve described this in detail. The media are totally enthralled by Donald J. Trump. Even “liberal” CBS chief Les Moonves talked about how much he loved covering Trump because it was bringing $$$ in. Leave your FAUX News cave and spend some time in objective reality. You might wake up!
Alistair Wiseman
@Kangol:
You poor thing. Do you not know the difference between the quantity of media coverage and the quality of media coverage?
Yes, all that adoration and love for Donald Trump on CBS,NBC,ABC,PBS,CNN,MSNBC,NPR,New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, etc.
Yes, the media just love and adore him with all of their positive, glowing stories.
Liberalism is a mental disorder.
gayhope1990
@Alistair (not)Wiseman:And you and your lot who defend this freak of Trump are a bunch of Uncle Tom./It’s getting worse.The Us is growing a total disaster.And I thought the Europe was the only who has been collapsed for decades.The West is over.The future is Asia especially the China and India.
Maude
Hillary, Pence, and Trump all suck.
I’d rather stay home and have a ‘never any of them’ orgy party with like minded friends…or write in…SANDERS.
zipperzone
Sounds like someone should start planning an “underground railway” to Canada.
Bob LaBlah
@Alistair Wiseman: By answering him you do know that you are committing child abuse, don’t you? Its clear that I am not allowed to respond to him. I’ve tried twice and the comments were rejected but thank you for calling King Kong just what he is.
NateOcean
Now that you menion it, I *do* see the “T” forcefully penetrating the “P”.
Before that I kept seeing a Nazi logo. If you squint, you can just see it.
Kangol
@Bob LaBlah: Maybe you couldn’t respond because you’re using terms like “King Kong.” Girl, get help, fast!
Kangol
@NateOcean: It’s both. He’s shtupping the GOP and giving his diehard hom0nationalist fans like Alistair W and LaBlah the feelies at the same time. Unfortunately we’ll all be shtupped if he wins!
Alistair Wiseman
@gayhope1990:
Let me guess…by your post it is either remedial English or English as a second language. I just can’t decide.
Alistair Wiseman
@Bob LaBlah:
Yes, I don’t think I have ever responded to Kangol because…well, look at the content of his posts. He actually believes that the mainstream media has engaged in adoration of Donald Trump and George W. Bush. Hilarious! I just couldn’t pass that bit of insightfulness up.
Kangol
@Alistair Wiseman: “I’ll overturn the shocking gay marriage decision-trust me.” -Trump, February 17, 2016.
This is who you support. Beyond pathetic. Also, since you seem clueless, here’s but one article showing how the supposedly mainstream, “liberal” media was in the tank for George W. Bush, before they helped him slip into office in 2000, and again when he launched his illegal war in Iraq. You can have him and I’ll-overturn-the-shocking-gay-marriage-decision Trump. Because you agree with that, right?
Alistair Wiseman
@Kangol:
Once again, always making assumptions. I never said I am supporting Trump. I didn’t vote for him in the California primary when he was already the presumptive Republican nominee.
I vote for the conservative candidate, since Trump is no conservative, I do not know who I will be voting for in November.
But please continue, tell me more about myself.
Bob LaBlah
@Kangol: I am curious as to why you aren’t shouting the triumphs of his opponent from your pulpit. Could it be because there aren’t any? Just what HAS she done for the community other than mention it and for the first time in her life actually show up at the pride parade with ol” Al in tow?
Run tell that to the word police.
DCguy
So Trump’s logo is a disaster, and his “Big Speaker” for the Convention is……..(Smirk)…..Scott Baio.
It’s almost as if he’s TRYING to be a laughingstock.
Kangol
@Bob LaBlah: I voted for Bernie Sanders. But now that it’s down to Clinton and the self-absorbed, pathological lying r@cist, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has my vote. You probably saw this, but if not, Trump’s ghost writer, Tony Schwartz, who observed him up close and ghost-wrote The Art of the Deal, which Trump takes complete credit for, basically says Trump’s a lying nut. A dangerous, unstable, lying nutcase.
Bob LaBlah
@Kangol: I’m pretty sure you heard about his but one of most vocal supports of the GOP, George Will, has abandoned the party because of this. I tried to post last week about HP, Apple, UPS and a few other big leaguers of the business world have abandoned their usual policy of donating money and material to support this convention. This is a mess from BOTH sides and again I say we ALL lose no matter who is declared the winner.
The vocabulary of a U.S. president is expected to be above the freshman community college student. This guy is on MY level and I KNOW I am the last person that should be in that office. I’m willing to bet this alliance between him and Pence will be finished by the middle of next month. Last nights 60 minutes interview sealed the doom of that alliance. Trump answered nearly EVERY question Stahl asked to Pence. What does that tell you?
This time around I am going to have mercy and not go into her shenanigans.
Bob LaBlah
@Kangol: Speaking of Art of the Deal the reason why it remained on the best sellers list for as long as it did was because he put a copy of it in each room of every hotel he either owned or had an interest in. As you can no doubt guess he tacked on a forty-dollar fee to the nightly rate on each room as well. The majority of people left it in the room having no idea they had bought it. EVERY night an extra forty dollars for that damn book and each guest counted as a buyer of that book. The title should have been The Art of Manipulation.
