Jake Shears celebrated one year in New Orleans with a purple drink.

This time, one year ago, I made a huge life change and moved to New Orleans part time. This week being my first anniversary in the city, gave me a chance to reflect on all the incredible things that have happened since then. When I set foot in this town, I had some pretty big goals for my work and myself. I'm proud to say that I achieved those goals with flying colors and with the help, love and support of countless, godsends of friends from here, LA, New York and around the world. So many wonderful people made what was a very tough period, into a life full of fun, creativity and emotional growth. You all know who you are, and I thank you from the furthest reaches of my heart.
