Despite the best efforts of his campaign team and far-right MAGA cultists, Herschel Walker’s bad week appears to be getting worse.
As previously reported, on Monday, the Daily Beast ran an explosive story on how the anti-abortion, Senate candidate in Georgia allegedly paid for a former girlfriend to have a termintation in 2009.
After that story broke, Herschel’s homosexual “don’t call me gay” son, Christian, took to Twitter to blast his father as a liar and hypocrite.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Former football star Herschel slammed the Daily Beast story as a “flat-out lie”. He said the same when quizzed by Sean Hannity about the allegations.
Herschel criticized the Daily Beast for using an “anonymous” source. He told Fox News yesterday, “Everyone is anonymous, everyone is leaking, and they want you to confess or something. It shows how desperate they are right now. They see me as a big threat.”
He said he had not figured out the identity of the woman making the allegations.

Some of his defenders took the same tact, blasting the Daily Beast for offering anonymity to its sources.
Bannon brings on ‘Faith & Freedom’ Chair Ralph Reed to run cover for Herschel with evangelicals, just as he did for Trump in 2016: “This is an anonymous allegation. That appears on a liberal website using sourcing that would not meet the scrutiny of any reputable news organiz.” pic.twitter.com/N43HLMPvF1

In response, the Daily Beast posted a follow-up story yesterday. It revealed the girlfriend who had the abortion is also the mother of one of Herschel Walker’s other four kids.
We’re guessing that should slightly narrow the field down for Herschel if he is genuinely at a loss as to her identity.
The woman still wishes to keep her name out of the public eye but sounds majorly unhappy. She told the Daily Beast she had the abortion in 2009 and then chose to have the child the second time she fell pregnant, a few years later.
She says Herschel, “didn’t accept responsibility for the kid we did have together, and now he isn’t accepting responsibility for the one that we didn’t have.”
“That says so much about how he views the role of women in childbirth, versus his own. And now he wants to take that choice away from other women and couples entirely.
“I don’t think there’s anywhere in the Bible where it says ‘have four kids with four different women while you’re with another woman.’ Or where it praises not being a present parent.”
Herschel Walker says God has saved him
Perhaps in an attempt to counteract this week’s bad press, Herschel Walker issued a new campaign advert yesterday. In it, he presents himself as someone who has previously battled mental health issues. He says God helped him overcome his past problems.
“As everyone knows, I had a real battle with mental health .. By the grace of God, I’ve overcome it… I’m Herschel Walker, saved by grace.”
For by Grace you have been saved… it is the gift of God. — Ephesians 2:8
Choose FAITH over fear… don’t run away and hide from problems; face them head-on, with HIS strength, and you will overcome. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! pic.twitter.com/nbAT8xBB9D

Herschel Walker is up against Democratic Sen. Raphael G. Warnock in Georgia in the upcoming midterms. Opinion polls had them pretty evenly matched up until this week.
However, a poll Tuesday night by InsiderAdvantage/FOX 5, after the abortion story broke, showed Warnock pulling three points ahead of Walker: 47% against 44%.
Some political pundits say Republicans are counting on a win in Georgia to help them secure a Senate Majority.

By any measure, Hershel Walker should be losing by 40 points. He’s not. Why is that? Clearly republicans do not think this guy is a great choice at this point. What is it about democrats that so many people will vote for a dumb guy with bad morals and no redeeming values over any democrat?
I know why. Some of you and your looney left demands are the reason. You don’t care that we lose elections. And there we have it. Hershel Walker could be a US senator. Devastating.

LumpyPillows
Use your words.
abfab
Sorry about that, Lumpy. Did you mean to write: ” What is it about democrats that so many people will vote for a dumb guy with bad morals and no redeeming values over any democrat?
Or did you mean ”what is it about republicans”?
LumpyPillows
Can’t tell when you are being serious or nasty. I’ll go with serious this time.
What do so many people hate about democrats that would lead them to vote for someone as diabolically unfit as Hershel Walker? Similarly, why did so many people who disliked Trump vote for him anyway? What is it about some prominent left-wing policies and attitudes that will drive people to do anything to keep us out of power?
I have a list of examples, but think it might be better for others to think about it.
Alternately, whatever it is that people hate about republicans is another question, that is irrelevant to my desire that democrats fix their messaging and start winning the easy elections, like this one.

Thank you. Capito!

@LumpyPillows
I see you’ve been taking my advice and at least TRYING to hide the fact you’re a troll account. But see, you always mess up. Here you’re blaming Republican hypocrisy, hatred and quest for power on Democrats.
It’s also cute you brought your other name in to pretend to disagree with you, so it would give the first screename a chance to elaborate.
It all adds up to……your troll game is still sad and weak.
DK
Blame-shifting, excuse-making bs. Conservatives and their enablers are always about personal responsibility, until it’s time for Republicans have to take responsibility for their votes, then it’s everybody else fault. Nope. Nobody has put a gun to theor heads and forced them to vote for fascism. Republicans vote for trash because they are trash people. And they need to grow up and take responsibility instead of blaming Democrats for their amorality, selfishness and dishonesty.

There have always been those that would sacrifice doing the right thing for political expedience. Joe Biden used to think that it was worth placating segregationists and went so so far as to argue against integrating schools. So, your take is nothing new. The faux moderate view is how we end up proposed compromises like Domestic Partnerships rather than Marriage Equality. There will always be those that lack conviction and principal. Your lack of those qualities only speakers to who you are and says nothing about the left.
Mister P
That is ridiculous even for your lumpy brain. Georgia is very evenly divided with Repugnants and Democrats. The repugnants are the ones willing to vote for anyone even if he has bad morals and no redeeming values just to take control of the Senate.
The Right wants power and money and they lie about everything to get it.
LumpyPillows
Ah, and the nasty response. You clearly did not think about the question. Is it that it is too difficult for you to work through it, or you just like being intellectually lazy? The “repugnants”? I mean, is this the 6th grade? Up your game or be ignored.
Harley
“I don’t think there’s anywhere in the Bible where it says ‘have four kids with four different women while you’re with another woman.” Ummm. Someone hasn’t read their Bible. Not only is bigomy strongly encouraged but having kids with concubines is also in there too.
LumpyPillows
Even more disparaging, we know it was a woman he has had an out of wed lock child with and we still don’t know who she is. Are there that many women in his harem? Are there that many illegitimate children we don’t know about that we can’t figure out who this is? What a horrible “man”.
Kangol2
@Lumpy, I’ll respond to your point by first noting that you’re adopting right-wing framing. Which is fine, because you often take a conservative position on things. But let’s look at the Herschel Walker situation objectively. He is running as a Republican, endorsed by Don the Con. The overwhelming majority of White voters in Georgia are Republican, and a sizable portion are MAGA Republicans. So most of them are going to vote for whomever Don the Con supports and endorses. That why they are “vot[ing] for a dumb guy with bad morals and no redeeming values over any democrat.” They already “vote[d] for a dumb guy with bad morals and no redeeming values” when they voted for Don the Con, TWICE!
As a result, the “by any measure” baseline doesn’t apply.
Conversely, though Georgia is a former Confederate state and very conservative, like its neighbors Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, etc., it has one of the largest and most liberal metro areas in the United States in and around Atlanta, and a sizable Black population as well as growing numbers of other people of color. As was clear in the 2020 election, the Atlanta metro area, coupled with Georgia’s other cities and near suburbs, counterbalanced the conservative White rural and exurban vote, giving Georgia two Democratic Senators and a Democratic US President. Additionally, this occurred despite numerous attempts by the GQP to restrict voting by Democratic voters. Governor Brian Kemp purged thousands of voters off the rolls, the GQP changed and tightened voting rules, etc. and Don the Con was still caught on tape trying to get the GQP governor to “find” 11,000 votes for him! Were all eligible Democratic voters able and allowed to vote, I imagine the margin would be far larger.
You may want to blame the “loony left,” but ask yourself, why are White voters all over the country, and not just in Georgia, constantly voting for a party, the GQP, that has impoverished them repeatedly over the last 40 years, that has made rural areas poorer, that has primarily enriched the already rich, that is constantly threatening to destroy vital social insurance programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, that has pushed the US into disastrous wars (cf. Iraq and Afghanistan), that appoints judges who strip away our Constitutional rights, and so on? Why? Whatever you may say about the “loony left,” we have not had a “loony left” president–not Carter, not Clinton, not Obama and certainly not Biden. On the other hand, we have had increasingly warmongering Republicans–Reagan, HW Bush and W Bush all launched invasions of other countries, culminating in a lunatic psychopathic traitor, Don the Con, who attempted a coup against the US. The “loony left” is not to blame for that!
GayEGO
Just do a DNA test and comparison, that will resolve the issue legally. It is time to resolve this issue.

Despite efforts from Daily Beast to poke holes in his bullsh|t, Walker is getting major support from some A#1 crisis PR operatives!

If in 2020, Georgia can go for Biden and elect two democratic senators, two years later one of those incumbant senators can get reelected. Let’s go democrats, get to work and don’t let the forces of evil steal this one from the democrats. There should be a national effort in the Democratic party to get the democratic vote out in the state.

I feel sympathy for Walker’s son. Many people parrot their parents views when they are young, then end up becoming their own people and figuring out life. Christian Walker is doing it in public. In a few years he may be embarrassed by those vids he’s putting out, but it seems like he’s at least starting to make the journey.
As for Herschal walker. No surprise, another lying hypocritical Republican. The only thing that would be even more typical is if he got arrested for child porn.

If we lose either house in Congress, I hope Biden will have sense enough to lose that quack Admiral Levine.
Kangol2
Wait, are you trying to blame the Democrats’ possible loss of either house of Congress–we’re talking about hundreds of seats!–to one out trans official? WTF kind of extreme transphobia is that? Are you a card-carrying MAGA or something? I mean, seriously?

David Hudson, saying his son is gay is a bit unfair. We don’t know if he’s in the closet. Even if he is, his hypocrisy towards LGBTI issues is less pressing than his father’s bigotry and being a reactionary on all policies more generally.
Kangol2
His son has openly said he’s attracted to men. He’s a man. So that makes him a male-attracted male, i.e., gay. Hudson’s not saying anything the entire world doesn’t already know.
redzebra1
Kangol2 My mistake, sorry. You’re right
Jimmynj
Herschel Walker is a liar, just like his buddy Trump. He absolutely knows who this woman is (I’m sure not the first abortion he has paid for). He is unfit for office and anyone who votes for him is an idiot.

Let’s be honest for once and stop with this Christian nonsense. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE have read or comprehended the Bible. They are only fed the same cherry-picked verses and given zero context or exegesis study by their radicalized and power-hunger clerics. The right uses Christianity to manipulate an undereducated populace purposely.
abfab
You want some honesty? Christianity has used Christianity to manipulate an undereducated populace purposely.
jay 700
why do we care about this hypocrite.

Because he’s anti-LGBTI and even with losing poll points because of these scandals, he might win via ‘voter fraud’ based fraudulent removal of non-white voters. I hope the GA Dems are watching closely and doing their best, we’ll see
