Meet Robert, the Stoli Guy Los Angeles winner who stole the show at Eleven nightclub with guest co-host Pandora Boxx and designer Andrew Christian.
Now Robert is getting ready to travel to New York City for the national finale. Will he be the one to claim the $10,000 prize?
Can you give us a little teaser of what your original talent showcase will be at the finale on September 18?
For my talent, I will be showcasing the Island of Tahiti and its dance culture by sharing a story through sensual hip movements and leg work.
How did your friends and family react when you won Stoli Guy 2014 in your hometown?
When I applied for this competition, I told myself if I am to show true originality, passion and genuine qualities, it would mean that I finally come out as gay to everyone. It was tough at first, but after winning Stoli Guy LA, my friends and family were all so proud of me and just super supportive of my decision to embark in such an experience that is still totally new to me.
Being an LGBT ambassador for Stoli is an exciting job. Why do you think you’d be the best at it?
I think I’d be a great LGBT ambassador because I am approachable and can see myself as an influential figure for those who went through or is still going through the struggles of coming out to their friends and family.
Why do you think being “authentic” is important in the LGBT community?
We are all entitled to our own acceptance or belief in life, and to be authentic is to showcase ones true self. Be honest, stay pure and just be yourself!
What inspired you to participate in Stoli Guy 2014?
My passion for dance is what inspired me. I remember when I was applying for Stoli Guy, I had read that I’d have to showcase a talent so I immediately went through a list of Tahitian drumbeats and chose one to start choreography for.
Favorite Stoli Guy Cocktail: I sure do love my blueberries, so I’d have to go with the Boy Next Door (Stoli Blueberi + Lemonade).

Please stop this obvious advertising for Stoli.
A better name than “Stoli Guy” would be to simply say “Vote for your favorite Drunk!”

It’s hard at this point not to have negative feelings for this but for a guy to get crowned ambassador for Stoli I imagine it would open allot of doors too.

@Ronbo: Queerty is making money off this pseudo-coverage. I don’t begrudge them the income, but it’s entirely unethical not to label these items as “paid placement” or “advertorial.”
It’s so insulting to gay men: to assume we can be bought off of genuine human rights concerns about our counterparts in Russia with booze and flesh. I can’t wait for this charade to be over. It’s made me even less likely ever to buy Stoli.

Robert is hot!

LMFAO! With the posting of this new underwhelming Stoli winner I will make sure the community of WeHo will continue boycotting this corporate anti-human rights supporter
