There are exactly zero out gay Republicans serving in any of the fifty state legislatures, the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund notes. With 4,000 Republicans to be seated in January, none of them will publicly acknowledge they sleep with members of the same sex. The three gay GOP state senators in California, Massachusetts, and Minnesota are all leaving office at the end of their terms, and no new gay Republicans were elected.

And what does Christopher Barron have to say about this?
crickets
I thought so.

I think Christopher Barron is too embarrassed to acknowledge that he is on the wrong side. It’s like thing is too late for him to turn around. What’s a poor soul !!!

……homosexual….that they *know8 of….

Gay Republicans are the same as Republicans who are poor, military, or middle-class: idiots shooting themselves in the foot.

Well so much for their mantra of “changing the party from within.” When you’re not welcomed somewhere at least get a clue.

QUEERTY: “There are exactly zero out gay Republicans serving in any of the fifty state legislatures, the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund notes.”
… obvious bad editing on the part of QUEERTY: if you go to the link QUEERTY provided, that article actually states, “Among the nearly 4,000 Republican state lawmakers expected to serve across the U.S. come this January, none will be openly lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, according to the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund.”
Of course there will be gay Republicans in state legislatures, just not openly gay ones. The closet-case sex scandals from Republicans touting “family values” will continue unabated.

Mark Kirk, the new Republican senator from IL is a gay serviceman. There. Outed again.

@Mark: Umm,
Mark Kirk is *US* Senator-elect from Illinois, and currently is a Representative in the US House. This article is about *state* legislators.
Lots of rumors about him being gay, but has anyone found/published proof? I don’t follow republican or Illinois politics that closely….
