Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly has seemingly evolved on the issue of gay marriage, which he once compared to bestiality. On Tuesday’s O’Reilly Factor, the pugnacious pundit argued that “the homosexuals” have a compelling argument for marriage equality, while all their opponents have been able to do is “thump the Bible.”
For O’Reilly, same-sex marriage is basically a non-issue at this point since he doesn’t feel “strongly about it one way or another.” We guess ambivalence is about the same as evolution, even though conservatives tend to believe in the former, while denying that the latter even exists.

Like with Evolution, they know they are wrong. When challenged they are incapable of coming up with a logical argument that stands up to the slightest scrutiny.
Evolution is a fact, marriage equality is a fact. You can’t fight the tide of reality forever.

Well, regardless of the reason, I say “Thank you, Mr. O’Reilly.” If he’s going to treat me like a human being, I don’t see any reason not to return the favor.

1. Funny he doesn’t feel strongly about it when he used to compare it to bestiality.
2. Looks like FOX News realized that they can’t continue their tactic of only trying to appeal to the Tea Party. They couldn’t even legitimately report that Bachman was wrong when she made several false accusations about the White House staff. They were attacked by the right wing who threatened a boycott.
Looks like FOX has realized they might need to win back some of the other 90% of the country who aren’t nuts.

Conservatives seem to be moving to the center on social issues. I feel like the last election showed that even though Americans may disagree fiscally, more and more people are becoming socially liberal. The “moral majority” is no longer the majority.

#4 MuscleModelBlog.com, The republicans were really bad, fiscally speaking. Why is it that this doesn’t stick? They just keep beating the drum and people repeat that they are fiscally more dependable, when the opposite is quite true. The economy has improved and the deficit is steadily going down and all of this is under a democratic President. Bush really did a bad job and put our country in danger.
