Country music is so gay nowadays. With the openly hunky Steve Grand and the Will Lexington storyline on ABC’s Nashville, the gays are kicking up their cowboy boots to the twang of their own guitar. Joining the homo-hoedown is Brooklyn-based “barrelhouse country band” The Paisley Fields. “Windows Fogged Up in Your Pickup Truck” is their first music video and it. Is. Adorable.
After running into each other on the street, two New York gays embark on a whirlwind romance that hits a bump in the road, only to end happy with a proposal. And honestly, nothing says love like coordinating plaid shirts…as lesbians have known for millennia.

Hipster country? Blasphemy!

I am not sure if you are aware of this or not but there is a genre of music that is similar to country but without the rural sensibility and twang or simplicity and it is called (say it with me)FOLK. These guys are folk!

Sweet! But I’m totally confused — where’s the pickup truck?

I’ll be honest – I enjoy country music. Reminds me of home. That and hot southern guys with pickup trucks.

This is from a 4 song EP called Dixie Queen. It is available on iTunes.

A banjo doesn’t make a song country.

This music video was really good…..once I clicked the MUTE button.
Sorry folks, I’m all for supporting fellow Gays in their business and creative works…but they still have to NOT SUCK at it.

Im all for the gay country music just like I adored homo hip hot, but this guy in this band can’t sing to save his life. I wanna hear a twangy voiced crooner who is singing about his boyfriend not some dude who sings off key and badly. I think Drake Jensen is a hell of alot better. But then again I like my country stereotypical and traditional. Not folksy….
