WATCH: Duo’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” Dance Will Melt Even The Grinchiest Hearts

Two of Santa’s helpers have been extra good this year. Hell, they’re right on point in fact. They’ve practiced their lip synching and choreography in pink leotards and striped stockings just to spread a bit of holiday cheer by dancing to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Don’t be a Grinch— you won’t be able to help but smile once you witness their miracle above 42nd street.

This does melt my heart. I was going to eat a hearty breakfast, leave my house, and go kick over a lemonade stand, but I said to myself, “Self, if I see another fabusexual tucked in a full salmon pink leotard showing me how high he can lift that leg along with his bestie to a Mariah Carey song, I will buy presents for the town orphanage.” And sure enough. Here it is. :)

  • MikeE

well.. the choreography is.. kitsch but suitable.
the song is annoyingly sicky sweet pop.

but the fricken’ camera! goddamit, dude, never heard of a steady-cam? you can get one for $200 now!
jeeze. was almost as nausea-inducing as Cloverfield!

DAMN. I was expecting FOGHAT’s All I want for Xmas is You. MC makes me ill.

This is the most charming thing I have seen all year. It literally made me “squee!!” with delight. There is nothing I love more than a man uninhibited enough to queen it up—and the fact that he’s doing it in a full leotard with a m-f-ing rose at the collar, well… I’ve gotten everything *I* want for Christmas this year. Except perhaps this man in my bed. Love.

It makes me laugh how some people are still taking pride in their resolute grumpiness. Bah humbug to you all! :-)

  • QJ201

Midnight Beast’s parody is even gayer…well at least the intent of the parody is.

  • ~PR~

@MikeE: knock the camera work all you like, but this was done in one take so I think it is done very well.

  • MikeE

@~PR~: imagine how much better it had been if the stupid camera weren’t jiggling around like an epileptic surveillance system?

oh, and there are cuts in the video, not done in one take.

  • scribe31

KNow i am goin to get heat for this but f-it! What the hell is wrong with that dude??? There is gay and then there was that shit!!! lol. @Christopher in VA: Really that dude turned u on? I would say he needs his nuts cut off for being filmed doing tht shit, but from the looks of the package he never had any… AND YES I AM BEING A BITCHY ASSHOLE AND I SHOULD JUST SHUT UP IF I DONT LIKE SOMETHING.

Two women dancing to a crappy song by a third semi-talented woman. Yawn.

  • Pete n SFO

    Loved it!

And I’m definitely grinchy about the holiday.

Great synch kids, and seriously… what a phenomenal tuck! lol

    xo, pete.

  • ME

@Bill Ford: One of the best selling holiday songs of all time by one of the most influential voices in pop music, and is credited for her five-octave vocal range, power, melismatic style, signature use of the whistle register, one of first artist to do a remix and infusing hip hop collaboration in a pop song.

    haters gon’ hate …. Yawn…

@scribe31: it’s intentionally over the top. That’s the point of it, and that’s why it’s so attractive: that man is unselfconscious enough to post a video of himself in a pink TURTLENECK leotard and KNEESOCKS dancing to MARIAH CAREY. That’s confidence. He’s comfortable enough in his own skin to make fun of himself even when he’s knows that men like you are going to knock him down because his exaggerated comedic act makes you uncomfortable with yourself.

It’s one thing to be disinterested—everybody finds different things amusing. But to have such a violent reaction to this video that you feel the need to declare he needs “his nuts cut off” and attack the size of his cock (which is tucked, by the way)? That’s more than disinterest. You wouldn’t have such a strong reaction to this guy if he didn’t strike a nerve of discomfort inside of yourself. The fact that he’s willing to lip-synch and dance to make the rest of us smile knowing that some people like you are going to feel disgust (motivated by your own sense of shame) makes him incredibly attractive to me. I love men who are comfortable in their own skin—comfortable enough that they don’t have to attack other men for the way they present themselves. If you’re butch, be butch. If you’re femme, be femme. Just stop trying to break down other people who don’t look and act the way you do.

I hate the comment wars here on Queerty and now I seem to be participating in one, so I’m going to leave it at this. I hope you find some peace with that part of yourself that is made so skin-crawlingly discomforted by this video.

  • Bill Ford

@ME: Yeah she’s a real musical genius alright.

  • Frank

    The guy is doable…

  • Brad

I enjoyed it. Other people smiling and having fun seems to make me smile. Much needed. And, the guy was very cute.

  • Linda

Love it love it thank you thank you!!!!!!

  • ~PR~

@MikeE: You are correct, there are cuts in the video; however, the dance sequence appears to be filmed in one take. I love this video. I can keep watching it over and over even though, as mentioned earlier, I’ve grown weary of this particular song.

  • ~PR~

@Christopher in VA: I agree. His self confidence makes him all the more attractive to me. So does his smile!

  • Kenny

I like what you’re saying Christopher, about the confidence making him sexy. I’m not attracted to him, but he’s enjoying himself and having a good time, and that’s all that matters. That alone makes him “cute”, lol. I think these two had a great time making this and trying to spread some holiday cheer – haters, have some too ;-)

  • Herb

Well, I showed this to a class full of teenagers and got many laughs and a few groans, but everybody enjoyed it and walked out with a smile. I say, “Good Work!”
