    I’m looking forward to it. The original film remains a legendary masterpiece.

    I can’t wait to see how they’ve embroidered the legend. I’m sure it will be fascinating. Though it’s worth remembering that this is 90% based on The Divine Feud, by Shaun Considine, who routinely accepted idle gossip as fact and brazenly invented stories to fill any gaps.

    I get the feeling the b******* playing all these people including Judy Davis are meaner than the real people ever were in real life. Maybe they’re just good actors? But Jessica Lange and the others clawed their way to the top without a studio system to pamper them, you know, and keep their images pristine.
