In Russell Tovey‘s new film The Pass, he plays a closeted footballer struggling to come to terms with who he really is, haunted by the night he kissed a teammate.

And judging by the below trailer, he does a good deal of this coming-to-terms in his underwear. Let this be a warning to any of you with heart conditions, as the sight of Tovey’s physique has caused at least one audience member to faint in the past.

@Xzamilloh: Too bad the white effemophobe Tovey is in this. The black actor’s name is Arinze Kene. In the play version, his role was played by the stunning Gary Carr, who also starred as the jazz musician in Downton Abbey.

From this trailer you wouldn’t even know this was a gay movie — assuming it even is — aside from the last couple of seconds when it appears that the two men might kiss. There’s more hetero action than gay. Guess who they’re targeting this movie for (in this ad at least) — it sure ain’t gay men!

Can someone tell me who decided this Tovey was attractive? Facially he isn’t attractive at all, in fact he’s plain ugly. I don’t get it. Also he’s annoyingly full of himself for someone of such below average looks. You could walk down any street and see better looking men. However the other guy in the movie, wow. Lets have some more news about HIM!
