The trailer for the CW’s Nancy Drew spin-off series Tom Swift recently dropped and it’s literally setting off sparks.
The character of Tom Swift is a gay billionaire inventor played by actor Tian Richards. He first appeared in Season 2 of Nancy Drew and quickly became a fan favorite. Now, his very gay, very glamorous life is being depicted in an action series of his own.
Per Entertainment Weekly:
Described as a “devilishly charming” inventor with “unlimited resources and unimaginable wealth,” Tom is someone who many men would kill to be, or be with. But his entire world gets turned upside down when his father mysteriously disappears, and he’ll stop at nothing to discover the truth of what happened. Tom finds himself thrust into a breathtaking adventure full of conspiracies and unexplained phenomena as he fights to stay one step ahead of an Illuminati-scale cabal hellbent on stopping him.
Tom Swift premieres on the CW on May 31.

I should of known it wasn’t a real gay black Billionaire. I was like oh wow just maybe he is bringing forth new Ideas to better the LGBT community as a whole, but nope it’s just a show lol… you got me

Oh wow – fun alert!! This series looks like it soaked up and reconstituted the wit, charm and glamour that inexplicably drained out of the 007 franchise after Daniel Craig took over!
