Like host, like contestant.
A Republican candidate for the New Jersey General Assembly and former contestant on Donald Trump‘s reality show The Apprentice has lost his party’s support after a video of him drunkenly hitting on a woman surfaced online, reports Politico.
Brian McDowell’s apparent political downfall is awfully ironic — all it took to get dropped by the Cape May County Republicans was an out-of-context clip in which he tells an unidentified woman “You should f*ck me.”
More specifically, he says, “Let me tell you right now. You should f*ck me. It would really be good. Listen, you never know.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Aggressive? Yes. Crude? Yup. But still, Trump was caught saying he could grab women “by the pussy” — an actual brag of sexual assault — and he went on to with the highest office in the land.
Speaking to Politico, McDowell later defended his behavior and even managed to squeeze in a comparison to Jesus:
“There are human errors and even Jesus dropped the cross three times,” he said. “I’m not running to be the pope. I’m running to make New Jersey more affordable.”
“Yes, I had a couple of drinks but it also shows the confidence that I have in a room,” he added. “And I believe in life most people enjoy confidence.”
What a class act.
McDowell, who also volunteered as the Cape May County coordinator for the campaign to elect Trump, has previously claimed he possesses “potentially damaging” audio that he acquired while competing on The Apprentice.
He vowed not to release it to help his former reality TV boss make it to the White House.

Like his hero – no shame or remorse. I noticed that he said his reason for running for political office was to ‘make NJ more affordable’ – nothing about wanting to help the poorest NJ residents to get jobs or better health care or better education or anything like that. He wants to cut taxes and services so that his already rich friends and supporters can syphon off even more for themselves. Repulsive creature.

Mr. McDowell should try for Bill O’Reilly’s slot. He’d fit in at Faux News Network.

I hope Trump is proud of the example he has set that makes his followers believe this behaviour is acceptable. It is his example that makes men like this think they are doing nothing wrong when they behave this way.
Mo Bro
So?
Are you aware of the things Bill Clinton did and said to women while he was holding the office of President of the United States? (I know, I know—he’s a Democrat so his misdeeds are untouchable, but still, the blatant hypocrisy is . . . well, blatant)

@Jack Meoff:
It’s completely understandable for you to be constantly obsessed with the politics and goings-on of Americans. We are, after all, the best, the brightest, the most interesting, the most popular, and the most coveted place to be. Liberal envy is the biggest compliment you Euro-types can pay a conservative American. So, thank you for your continued interest in us. It speaks volumes, and contributes to proving our ongoing status as world leaders.
natekerchel
Mo Bro – do you ever read anything? I AM an American. I live in London at the moment because of my job. And you are certainly none of the things you list – what you are is a trump apologist. I dont know if you are gay or not – frankly I dont care either way. But if you are not gay why are you so obsessed with this gay site? Why do you constantly seek to defend the indefensible? Why do you constantly twist people’s words? Why do you indulge in abusive name calling when challenged? Why are rude to people you dont even know? I may disgaree with things that you say but it is your right to think and say those things. I indulge in rational dialogue – you tend to just deny everything and yell us we are all left wing crybabies. I am perfectly happy to read, and comment on, what you say about things if they are not abusive or outright lies.
DCguy
Oh look, what a shock, the Troll whose only job is to defend Trump or anti-lgbt bigotry is trying to defend a GOP politician who sexually harassed a woman.
It’s funny when you keep exposing your self like this.
Quick now, get your other screenames to come on here to agree with you!!! LOL!
Mo Bro
@natekerchel:
You might be American by birth, bloke, but your politics are anything but patriotic.
What I am is an American who wants what’s best for America and its citizens, not what’s best for Islam, foreign dictators, cop-killers, and an array of other anti-Americans propped up by the left.
But, let’s be real here, a civil discourse is impossible on this venue. Nor are comment boards intended for proper conversation—they’re intended for comments, so you make yours and I’ll make mine and the world will be all sunshine and lollipops. Cheerio.
ps – I’m not a straight troll. Bloody hell, do YOU ever read anything?
@DCGuy:
I’ve always wondered . . . is it true that people like yourself have no clue that you’re crazy?
natekerchel
Mo Bro – yet again you show your nasty side. I only moved to London two years ago and I return home every 6 months – so don’t try and paint me as some kind of traitor. Secondly – I did not say you are straight – I asked i dont know if you are gay – still not reading things properly. I tell you this – if by patrioitic you mean rude, arrogant, racist, homophobic, nationalistic, women assaulting, greedy, selfish uneducated idiot then you are right – I am not patriotic. But i notice you claim to be. And just because this is a place to make comments does not mean you can just say whatever you want. Well you can if you are an unprincipled liar with no breeding or manners. Sounds a bit like your hero in the White House. If you are really a gay man you should be ashamed to support a homophobic ‘government’. Any reasonable person would not support or defend people who want to remove their civil and human rights – not unless they dislike themselves of course.
Mo Bro
Just because we share one minor common denominator regarding our mutual sexuality does not mean that I also share your identity of victimization. Your outlook of the world as a bunch of homophobic bullies out to get us is not mine. I do not share your view of American as an oppressive society. We are not victims of heterosexual white men, despite how much you want to insist we are.
These are our differences. Now, be a good liberal and embrace them.

Says the guy who just lost his book deal and has a ton of time on his hands.
natekerchel
Mo Bro – I don’t expect you to think like I do – that would be asking too much from someone who has so much arrogance and clearly distorted thinking. My question for you and others like you on this site who claim to be gay is this – explain the rationale whereby a gay person supports and defends those people who want to annihilate him – either politically or even physically. That is something you have no logical answer for and that is why you deflect and deny and twist words. I certainly would never want to think like you – I have self respect and pride in being gay. IF you are gay – and that is a big if despite your protestations – it is not logical for you to defend, in any way, homophobes and those who would wish us harm.
Mo Bro
I’ll make this short.
1- I never defended homophobes. Donald Trump is not a homophobe. You cannot provide a single example of him personally disparaging gay people.
2- Tell me again who wants to annihilate us? Christians? Republicans? Nope—it’s Muslims who execute gays (look it up on YouTube if you have the stomach for it), which begs the question: Who, exactly, is defending those who want to annihilate us? In my opinion, it’s your ilk who have your heads deeply buried in the sand.
3- Trump’s administration is not a danger to any American, gay or straight, black or white, short or tall. Unlike his predecessor, Mr. Trump has America’s best interests in mind and wants us protected.
4- Just because you keep saying the sky is falling doesn’t mean it actually is.
Have a good weekend. Hope you get laid.

Gorsuch, cough, cough.

“There are human errors and even Jesus dropped the cross three times,” he said.
My heritage is Jewish so I’m not that educated as to Jesus (who was Jewish like me) but somehow I doubt that Jesus dropping the cross three times qualifies as “human errors”.
stevetalbert
Jesus doesn’t make errors. He dropped the cross on purpose but no one took the bait. Probably too hot and public.
It always worked for him with the soap in the shower. Oh well, that’s the cross he’ll have to bear.
STAMBOUL
Mo Bro, do you feel protected by Mike and Karen Pence?
