@Rock and/or Roll: Whose website are you referring to? I went to the BLR site, and there is absolutely no statement about anything, they have clips featuring Obama too and some non-political ones. The BLP is comedy/entertainment.
If you are referring to Queerty, I have been a Queerty regular for a couple of years and I have never read any posting by them indicating that Queerty claims to be anti-hate. Indeed, Queerty’s posts seem quite clear that they are exposing anti-gay hate.
As Justice Robert Jackson famously opined (1949) “The Constitution is not a suicide pact.” Similarly, here, being against hate does not suspend fighting hate. Santorum and Bachmann are, as you point out, clearly anti-gay hateful politicians. Exposing that and/or making fun of them, is hardly the same thing as Santorum/Bachmann hate spouting.
Even at their most lowest level (journalisticly, ethically, grammar-wise, political positions, etc.) Queerty is not the enemy; Santorum/Bachmann, et al, ARE THE ENEMY.
