Gay celebrities are getting married left, right and center. So Jesse Tyler Ferguson decided he was going to announce his engagement to longtime boyfriend Mikita in a truly unique way: He launched a new foundation benefiting marriage equality.
The two cuties teamed up with Tie Bar to create Tie The Knot, a site selling a stylish collection of unique bowties beginning in November. Proceeds from neckwear sales will go to various groups fighting for the right of gays and lesbians to make it legal.
In the course of discussing the endeavor, Ferguson lets slip that he popped the question—and Mikita said yes. “Who wouldn’t want to see us get married?” asks Ferguson, above. “We’re as cute as puppies—puppies with bowties!”
This is true.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Congratulations, but why oh why Jesse do you persist in supporting the republican party whose new platform wants marriage equality banned forever? Stop sucking up to your oppressors! They don’t want you and they don’t even like you.

@alexoloughlin: Because he makes too much money NOT to.

Same sex marriage: yes. Bowties: no.

Dear God, is there anything less attractive on a man than a bowtie? This trend needs to die NOW.
Eric Auerbach
And no, nerds: Bowties are *not* cool.

That guy is a republican?
InscrutableTed
You’re not confusing him with Tucker Carlson, are you?

JTF creeps me out a lot of times. He reminds me of people who have that fetish where they like to dress up as and be treated like babies.

@alexoloughlin: Umm, I found no reference to Jesse Tyler Ferguson being a Republican anywhere.
