Lady Gaga rocked the opening of the 2013 iTunes music festival in London by performing an hour of new music from her upcoming album ARTPOP. Madre Monster performed “Aura,” “Jewels and Drugs” (feat. T.I., Twista and Too $hort), “ARTPOP,” “Sex Dreams,” “Manicure,” “Swine” and “I Wanna Be With You,” plus the lead single “Applause.”
Tell us what you think of the Lady’s new tunes.

I really like gaga but I hope these 7 songs are the filler in the album and not the main offerings. I like that she’s doing different stuff and not so bubblegum like Katy perry but none of those had the anthemic qualities of a “poker face” or “bad romance” : (

@Wingfield: i kinda agree. these songs didn’t hold me the way her last album did. except ‘applause’. that one is fun.

I watched this yesterday and darn that lady knows how to give an amazing show. The songs are so different, catchy and weirdly unique, I’m very in love with Sex Dreams, ARTPOP and MANiCURE and the best part is that she stated that the best songs weren’t performed at the Itunes she saved the best. Despite her hair , her outfits and anything crazy she comes , she’s very down-to- earth.

Despite the half hour wait in front of my laptop,(typical rock star move)i was not disappointed. Gaga was FAB! ARTPOP was my fave.

It’s been sort of downhill since she arrive at the Grammys in the egg, huh.

She’s losing it. See, the thing about being a gay icon in particular is that you have to just ride the wave. Instead Gaga is always reminding us of how sad we are, how we all unanimously love her (though plenty don’t), and she’s our salvation basically. She addresses gay people like indoctrinated followers of a religion where she’s God.
Then Russia arrests people who are gay and she claims they didn’t stick her in a cell because they’d have to “answer to the world”. Interesting. Persecuted gay civilians don’t outrage the world, a persecuted Gaga does.
What surprises me, though I love a few other gay icons, is that more gay men will flock to Gaga than someone like Chris Colfer who is actually gay….
