We’re doing a really great job of fundraising for the November elections, with millions from Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and other major donors like going to support marriage equality in Maine and Washington. And then there’s a glorious news that the Democratic National Committee will likely endorse marriage equality. What a state of affairs.
There’s also good news abroad: The Prime Minister of New Zealand just endorsed the freedom to marry, as have a majority of the Scottish Parliament and UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
Even Vietnam is getting into the act, with work underway on some form of relationship recognition. Kind of a crazy time to be alive, right?
