Gettin' Schitty With It

WATCH: The new super-gay ‘Schitt’s Creek’ trailer just dropped

Santa has come early, bringing tidings of scathing comedy to all those who take life Schitty.

The Canadian Broadcasting Company surprised the internet by dropping the Season 5 trailer for their acclaimed comedy Schitt’s Creek. The trailer has already gone viral, teasing what to expect in this new season of comedy mayhem.

For the uninformed, Schitt’s Creek follows the Rose family, headed by former video store mogul Johnny and his soap opera actress wife Moira. When a manager defrauds them of all their assets, the family relocates to the titular rural town. That includes the two Rose kids, Alexis and the flamboyantly queer David. The series stars co-creators Eugene Levy and his out-gay son Daniel, Annie Murphy and Catherine O’Hara.

Based on the new trailer, Season 5 will focus on the family opening an acting academy. We can’t wait to see what antics they get into…and if David finally gets the guy in the end. As it were.

Schitt’s Creek returns January 16. It streams on Netflix in the US.
