Nick Jonas has been accused of merely giving lip service to the gay community, but he’s clearly not afraid to put his mouth where his money is.
Kingdom‘s third (and final) season kicked off on May 31, and the mixed-martial arts drama is as operatic, gritty, and grandiose as ever.

The series stars Nick Jonas as a mixed martial arts fighter who happens to also be a closeted gay man. The most recent episode features a scene that goes (somewhat) above and beyond the average chaste “gay” TV kiss, as you can see here:
There’s also an explicit scene in which a young man brings him a delicious, steaming bowl of porridge after a passionate night of gay lovemaking. Hot:
And… then there’s another gay kiss (while Jonas holds the porridge! Yes!), but this one is pretty chaste and average, really. More of a peck than a pre-poke prod. But it’s definitely a kiss between two men. So there’s that:
Earlier in the story, Jonas’s character decides to come out to his brother Jay after some business involving junkies stealing $7,000 from him, and so he smashes up his room, and there’s pathos for miles.
There’s also a skin-crawly bit of dialogue along the lines of “You’re my brother… so you better be doing the fucking!”
Here’s the season three trailer, so you can decide whether this is the kind of gritty urban drama your heart desires:

If this is queer baiting, viva la queer baiting!

Before this show got locked down, I watched the first season off iTunes. However, after that point it was made pretty much exclusive to DirecTV which I think is a mistake.

Awesome show!! Hopefully, it’s over before we get rid of DirecTV.

Every part of that scene was great… the dialogue was as real as it could get, and it’s good that they didn’t shy away from the testosterone fueled machismo of being in the MMA. Also, Nick Jonas locking lips with another guy? Can’t go wrong. Waiting on Joe to take the full plunge.
Sidenote: I’m really not trying to use “machismo” so much today.

WTG Nick for playing a gay character.

Give Nick a shout out. Perhaps “playing” a gay character is not really playing? Just a thought. I can’t wait to see all the right wing nutsos going full on crazy about this. Like, they have license on what is normal or moral!!

“Gay lovemaking?” Not unlike “gay marriage,” can’t we just call it “lovemaking” and leave it at that?
Esscourt
That’s a kiss? How ’bout a spit swapping, tongue-sucking kiss? Spare me this “little peck on the lips” kiss!

It’s missing Lil Bossie’s commentary.
