WATCH: Obama-Appointed Gay Ambassador Daniel Baer Introduces Himself and His Partner

In June President Obama tapped Daniel Baer, a former Georgetown professor and more recently deputy assistant secretary of state, to be one of four gay U.S. Ambassadors. Baer will oversee the Organization for Security and Co-operation In Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, Austria. In the just-released video (above) Baer shares some highlights of his career, plans for the future, and introduces his partner Brian and their greyhound Cleo.
