WATCH: Out Singer-Songwriter Josh Zuckerman Makes Music For Kids Of All Ages

By day Josh Zuckerman is a kindergarten teacher at John Adams Elementary School in North Brunswick, New Jersey. But when he’s not overseeing fingerpainting or show and tell, the out singer-songwriter is performing his own music. He’s toured the U.S. Germany, France, Sweden, and Thailand; seen his music played on Logo, MTV and Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List, and even performed at the Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

Zuckerman’s  most recent project is one for the kids: From A to Mr. Z, a children’s-music CD from his new group, Mr. Z and the Shashka Frashkas. It’s a collection of upbeat educational ditties that even folks who set their own bedtimes can enjoy. Above, listen to “Starts with You,” the first single off the From A to Mr. Z. If you like it, forward the video to your friends with kids.

What a great positive message for kids. It’s a catchy tune.
