Pentatonix has done an incredible job of carving out a special little place in todays music scene. Not an easy feat for an a capella group. I saw Pentatonix perform in 2013 as one of the opening acts for Diana Ross at the Hollywood Bowl. The audience loved them.

Damn – Pentatonix is SO GREAT – this video gives me chills. Every member delivers an outstanding individual talent. In addition to their great vocal talent, the arrangements, syncopation, harmonies and teamwork are truly thrilling to hear. Dolly must be in her 70s, but her spot-on vocals here show such an amazing talent and understanding of presentation. While she may not be able to always hit and sustain all of the high notes that she used to, the control and nuance she demonstrates here more than makes up for that.

Dolly is awesome…everyone seems talented. But a capella is a cancer on the boob of music. It’s never “news” when an a capella song comes out – just as it is never good. Learn to play an instrument, stop faking it with your mouth!
