“America, I believe we can build on the progress we’ve made and continue to fight for new jobs and new opportunities and new security for the middle class.
I believe we can keep the promise of our founding, the idea that if you’re willing to work hard, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or [who] you love. It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, abled, disabled, gay or straight.
You can make it here in America if you’re willing to try. I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggest. We are not as cynical as the [pundits] believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states, we are and forever will be the United States of America and together with your help and Gods grace we will continue to journey forward and remind the world what it is to live in the greatest nation on earth”

Did you listen to our President? He and his party is the party of inclusion, not exclusion. I am proud to be an American and for casting my vote for him and our nation. Our future as gay Americans looks brighter for tomorrow,tomorrow and tomorrow. Thank you President Obama and all those who voted and supported him for reelection. I admit I was scared and depressed for the past few weeks because of the possibility that Mitt “FLIP-FLOP”Romney and his his running mate could of been elected by the Right Wing Republicans, and I and so many other gay Americans would of become 2nd class citizens. I hope those Log Cabin gays lose their non-profit status soon!

He said one word – “gay” – at the end of a list in a long speech.
Wow!
Some people are easily pleased.

I never was waiting so eagerly to release this poster that was grilling my hard disc “blue” when finally CNN said that President Obama had won.

@fagburn
After all he addressed a nation of 350 million people and not a gay conference.
You may have noted he said “Gay or Straight” not the other way round. That clearly shows he not carries us as 2nd class in our heart and puts minorities first.
I believe President Obama is 100% gay friendly and want the G&L community to have and enjoy all the freedom, acceptance and integration they wish for.
But as all Presidents, he needs to keep up with a certain composure. He still has to keep in mind not to loose the votes of all those who remain to be educated informed and enlighten about the gay community. Sadly in USA there is still is 2014 and we know what 2010 brought down as a brick wall to him continuing his path to a reconstruction that not only USA depends on. I speak from north of the border and our economy also depends on USA.
What ever he does for the G&L community I think he does it with an outstanding class act!

@fagburn:
No offense but you’re an idiot. You put the most important points or points you want to stand out at the beginning or end, remember that from grade school?
