On the November 2 episode of Conan, actor Ryan Reynolds and host Conan O’Brien surprised audiences by abruptly recreating that iconic “kissing in the rain” moment from the film — and with Conan filling in Rachael McAdams’ shoes.

The moment is part of a challenge in which Ryan asks Conan to guess what product he’s on the show to promote, with options including: sexy briefs for men made out of 100% ham; his brand-new sex tape; or his first-ever parenting book, 10 Easy Steps to Lower Your Child’s Self-Esteem.

I’ve never made out with a girl so I commend them. The audience wasn’t laughing so much as cheering. It brought my cold dead 7 chambered heart back to life for a few beats.
