Samuel Motherf*cking L Jackson is perhaps not best known for his subtlety. But sensing an urgency missing from this year’s election, the Jewish Council for Education and Research sponsored this pro-Obama video, “Wake The F*ck Up!” to inspire voters to do just that.

“Sorry my friend, but there’s no time to snore/an out-of-touch millionaire has just declared war/on schools, the environment, unions, fair pay/ We’re all on our own if Romney has his way/And he’s against safety nets. If you fall, tough luck/ So I strongly suggest that you wake the f*** up.
Written by the author of the satirical children’s book, Go the F*ck to Sleep, Adam Mansbach, the video and campaign are meant to not only encourage people to get out and vote (for Obama) but also to organize, canvass and donate.
“My hopes are that the video helps … remind people of Obama’s accomplishments and the stakes of this election, and galvanize people to get out and get active,” Mansbach told Yahoo! “Not just to vote, but to volunteer and organize.”
