Probably the most talked-about music video of 2020, ‘WAP’ by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion has racked up over 144million views since debuting on YouTube on August 6.
If you still haven’t seen it, the women don’t hold back on singing about their…. well, ‘wet ass pussy.’ Or ‘wet and gushy’ in the PG-13 version of the song.
Unsurprisingly, social media was soon flooded with people offering their own take on the video, with some playing the song to elderly relatives for a reaction.
Now, a gay version of the video has hit the internet. It’s the creation of noted choreographer Nicole Kirkland and Instagram makeup influencer Mac Daddyy (Angel Merino).
“There are so many layers to gay men… it is not a one glove fits all!” says Kirkland. “Angel and I wanted to represent the beautiful diversity found within the LGBTQ+ community! The rugged, the femininity & everything in-between.
“This video was so much fun to film! All the boys killed it and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!”

Oh, and for laughs, check out this guy doing the dance for his grandma’s enjoyment.

First one tried to hard. Second one was sexy as f#$k. Third was cute

First group was fun, diverse, and had some great set and individual choreography. The second group was a bunch of Magic Mikes, impressive, but I think was a miss – the set and the moves could have applied to any song. Third… I couldn’t watch because link was broken.

To each their own. However, in my opinion the song and the various associated video clips are to put bluntly, quite vulgar and not particularly erotic. Stripper moves and stripper music being peddled as art. Not my cup of tea at all.

Pearls sucesfully clutched 😀

The first was was the best, very diverse: Latinos, black and whites, great choreography. Love it.
Did not care for second or third.

It’s a damn awful song so why are people celebrating it anyway?
